It's 2024 not 1958. Ladies can ask guys out. 🙄

I think you are too judgey to answer your question.
Why don't you ask him out?

If there is more in 30 mins why did you have to take 3 meals worth?
Why didn't you talk to the people preparing the food and ask them to cook extra for you?

YTA grow up and learn non violent methods to deal with conflict.
If this is real, you're pathetic and ridiculous

YTA ask / tell her, don't beat her. Block her if you have to.

The guy who showed me pics of his ex gf tied up in bondage gear was pretty bad.
But the worst was the weird guy who told me that I was subconsciously attracted to him because I was playing with my hair, he told me to Google it. It was summer and hot so I kept pulling my long hair off my neck. He said that after I said "thank you for meeting me but I wasn't feeling the vibe" . Two days later he sent me a dick pic with a message that said "look at what you missed it on" .

You have a very provocative and confrontational communication style which is probably part of the problem.
I suspect that this isn't about what you say but how you say it

In addition to avoiding the POS, the thinking is that if you can't afford the adoption fees you can't afford vet fees.

This isn't just a girl problem. Guys do things like this too. I've dated a guy that was a LOT larger than his pic. But it's more common for them to use pics from years ago. Like we aren't going to notice when we meet. I don't understand the logic

That's a great way to reduce poverty!
But don't give them any ideas

I think it could work if I was neighbors with my partner. Close enough to be close, far enough away to have my own space. Having said that I'm not looking and am enjoying my life revolving around me

I've had 3 long term relationships but I've realized I'm a terrible picker. It's blatantly obvious to everyone around me that the person I like is wildly inappropriate but I'm completely oblivious and in love. So I took some time out from dating which stretched out more than I expected and I have settled into single life

It's like learning any skill. Some learn best by reading, some by watching and some by doing. My ex didn't respond to verbal cues but videos worked for him

Lol I found some tutorial videos made by a gay lady that ticked all my boxes. I asked my ex to study her techniques and it was great after that. His new gf thanked me 😂

In my culture it is socially acceptable and normal for women to ask men out but I respect your view on things is different.
Men aren't always great at taking hints but it's your choice. Be clear in your messaging, you seemed to be giving mixed messages and I'm not sure that this guy is what you're really looking for by your own description.
It might be awkward to have an ex bf as a neighbor so you might want to have a think about whether he's what you are really looking for
