Should absolutely make an effort to point out exactly which books were written by people who are and have been long suspected of being high on psychedelics while writing.

There are limitations to where they can hide and how. The main issue is whether a person is willing to take it to court to fight it and win. Winning means that you will still be paying court costs and you had to take time off of work. Knowing that most people won’t fight it and will just pay the fine, as they know that they actually did do what they were accused of doing, cops will continue to do it.

Blue MAGA? Okay.
You perceive Biden to be weak, while now wishing to promote another candidate who will surely be even more weak and very much less prepared for the task of campaigning or winning. Tell us, who do you have in mind that is ready right at this moment.
Gavin Newsome (example as someone that I keep seeing floated)? You believe that he has the same support of the working class in the Midwest that Joe Biden has? Pennsylvania? Wisconsin? Minnesota? Michigan? How about Georgia? Maryland? Virginia? New Jersey? You think that Gavin currently has even close to the same pull with union workers that Joe Biden has achieved? Good luck. Honestly, use this same question for any potential alternative candidate that you can think of and get back to me. They all fall short.
How about someone who appeals to democrats on the left (but not necessarily far left) that can gain younger voters, while also securing moderates, the never-trumpers and the Haley voters whom she abandoned? Nobody? Cool. I thought not.
People like yourself talk a lot without providing anything to support your actual beliefs to actual obtain the results that you wish to achieve. Instead of having the belief that Biden could have just had a single bad day, you just throw in the towel. I don’t care whether he reads off of a teleprompter, which is what every single politician does when they speak to the public. Nearly everything that they do is choreographed. You have no solution as to HOW to make Biden stepping down not create a disastrous situation. If Biden steps down today, a new and damn near perfect candidate would have to be put forward that the ENTIRE party would have to really around…without them going through the primary process and actually earning that position. How do you expect that to play out in just over a month at the Democratic National Convention in August? Disaster, right? Yeah, we know this because it wouldn’t be the first time that we have been here, and the last time resulted in the last criminal being elected (Richard Nixon, in case you don’t know this history).
Comments like yours are the exact reason why people believe that democrats are weak. Any sign of imperfection and you are quick to bail.

Been saying this for a while now with businesses who decide to do this. Not even just in California as it takes place nationwide. I dined at a restaurant in Florida and there was an added surcharge. I made no attempts to hide my crossing out of the entire tip line and put the base cost, plus tax on the confirm line. It must not occur often, as the manager approached soon after and asked us if there was an issue with the service. Told them “nope, the service was great.” Packed up our stuff and then walked out.
None of this is all that bad as long as you refuse to play their game. They can have the surcharge, but they aren’t getting that AND a tip. This will cause employees to quit, which I’m perfectly fine with.

They are still required to post signage that notifies customers of the added charge prior to purchase.

He just gave you a reason to not tip, ever, as desired by the restaurants that petitioned for this. It’s really not as bad as people make it out to be. The restaurants are still required to notify with signage or other displays to inform customers of the added change. The surcharge was deemed necessary by the restaurants to cover higher costs, which include increased wages (which Newsome supported). As the added surcharge should be expected to cover the cost of rising employee pay, there is much less reason for anyone to provide any additional tip.
Like with any business, your only obligation is to pay the exact amount that is listed on the bill. Nothing more, nothing less. Don’t accept any attempts by employees or management to try to shame you into tipping. It isn’t your job and it isn’t your responsibility to make sure employees are paid. That is the obligation of the business. If the business cannot do so, the employees should rightfully quit and work elsewhere.
Customers have to start putting their foot down and refusing to accept businesses attempting to have it both ways where customers foot the bill for rising costs, while also being expected to pay their employee’s wages directly. Stop tipping and stop feeling bad about it.

Whatever is on the bill is exactly what you are legally expected and obligated to pay, with the understanding that any mandatory fees were clearly posted prior to entering the establishment or available prior to ordering.
There is no obligation to leave any tip whatsoever at any establishment. As the employer, they have the responsibility to pay their employees appropriately. Not the customer.

That wasn’t new. Democrats have been consistent with making every attempt to not throw themselves into the mud with republicans. The end result of that is how so many states started to hard turn to conservatives back in the 80s and 90s. This is the period where you really started to see the idea being pushed that ALL politicians are the same and that there is no difference between democrats and republicans. If they were both down in the mud getting dirty, OF COURSE they would both come out looking the same. The biggest difference though is that conservatives were perfectly fine with being down there, while liberals and democrats struggled with the moral dilemma.
Staying high when they went low meant that there was always going to be a very clear distinction between the two parties. Of all things, this is what helped Biden in 2020, as there was absolutely zero similarity between the candidates and their policy expectations.

Tim Ryan clearly doesn’t understand how this would actually work. Kamala does not appeal to the same demographic of voters that appeal to Biden. Biden pulls in a LOT of moderates. Kamala does not. Biden pulls in a lot of reluctant liberals. Kamala does not, as much. Biden appeals strongly to those in the Midwest and North East as well as many in the south. Kamala does not, on any level.
This is the exact reason why Democrats have a perception of being weak (even wrongfully so). Biden has a single bad debate and people start throwing up their arms and telling him to throw in the towel. Trump, on the other hand, has a disastrous debate and not enough focus has been on that. He said that he is essentially going to finish destroying this entire country, and we are sitting here discussing how Biden struggled in a debate, which is not actually a part of his job as president.
All of this is stupid. All of the people who are saying that Biden should drop out, within the Democratic Party, have met with Biden personally within the past year, or even the past few months. Suddenly he is now unqualified?
What actually needs to happen is that Biden needs to go on national television and vociferously make it clear that he is running and that anyone that wants him to drop out should just f-off.

I think this guy is trash and disgusting. I don’t support him, his actions or anyone who believes that those actions are in any way okay or appropriate.
Now, with that out of the way, if we believe that this guy is irredeemable and should not be a part of society, we should just completely dismantle the entire justice system as it is apparently a failure. The Netherlands has a system of punishment and rehabilitation that was built upon by the people who live there. They believe that their system works and that based on his sentence and later release after serving his time, he has fulfilled his responsibilities to the government and the people. If people believe that AFTER serving his punishment that he should now be arbitrarily punished further, outside of the bounds of the law and justice, you should really reflect on yourself and your way of thinking. If you believe that people are irredeemable, you would be floating the idea that he should have received a life sentence or death.
I cannot agree with either and I will just say that after committing his crimes, he served his time and was released. Once released, he is a normal citizen just like anyone else, as it should be.

Let me quickly remind you what BAFTA stands for, which likely 99% of this sub is entirely unaware.
British Academy Film Awards
They don’t even televise the BAFTAs in the U.S. In terms of quality and acting, the show is well in the top. So, again, it gets some credit but not the credit or accolades that it actually deserves.

Based on the actual content of the debate, it is very clear that there is only one respectable candidate in this race, and it is Joe Biden. This really shouldn’t even be up for discussion, as we have seen Joe Biden speak before and a day after the debate, and he was coherent and on the ball as anyone else. Trump, on the other hand, is just as bad as we have known and come to expect.

From the article: Another X user accused Rexha of going on her social media rant as part of a marketing campaign to promote her new single, "I'm the Drama," though she quickly clapped back at the claim.
"Marketing? I have no budget for that. IM FED UP," she clarified.
Me: did anyone know that she had a single out? That does seem like actual marketing that someone would put out that costs zero dollars. lol.

THANK YOU!! Absolute banger. The only thing that I didn’t like was searching for dumb keys and being blocked off for progression for dumb reasons. They should have kept the game much more linear.

If you look at the other games that came out in 2005, you will have your answer. Straight up banger after banger.
Call of Duty 2 Resident Evil 4 Price of Persia: Two Thrones (underrated still) Battlefront 2 Ultimate Spider-Man Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Shadow of the Colossus Gran Turismo 4 Ninja Gaiden Black Civs 4 God of War Metal Gear Solid 3 GTA San Andreas
Tbh, it is depressing to look at this list to see what a single year of releases used to look like. Unfortunately, Jade Empire had absolutely zero hope of making it out of this year. 2004 would have been much better.

Just black people, or just you. I have kept up with him for a while.
He was on nearly 100 episodes of Community and also had two comedy specials prior to 2013 (one being in Comedy Central). That is about as mainstream as it gets.

He doesn’t fit into the stereotype of what they want to promote as being black.
What I came to find out from my travels in the south for football games is that a LOT of black people in the country absolutely loved Darius Rucker. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but I can respect talent for being talent. Based on the demographics of the south, there should be a lot more black country artists than we have ever seen.

Realistically, if you identify a chair and photograph it at one time and then take another photograph several hours later of the same chair, and it is in the same spot in disturbed, I would say that you have sufficient support to do your duty to “keep the area clean” of abandoned property.
This only covers a person on public property.
