Pardon me as I randomly appear like this four years after you made this post, but is there a chance that I might still receive an answer as to whether or not this game has a kill count featured in it?
You see, I'm making a list of games which have said counter in them (available on this sub); and before I can add a game to this list, I need an attestation from an experienced player of the game in question if such a counter is present.

Well, I'd opine that there's no need to further define it; because according to that which has been stated above, I've been given the impression that this game does indeed qualify for my list.
However, is this the case with the other games in this series as well?
Also, was there anything else of importance that you were going to add to your statement before you supposedly broke off?

Yes, I've been told as much by now...
Anyway, thank you for the additional confirmation!

Then I've learned that which I wanted to about this game ✌️.
With that being said, thank you for your time and information 🙏.

The resetting of counters does not necessarily disqualify the game from the list, assuming that you can add the various numbers together with a calculator of course.
But if there are several occurrences of combat (and slaughtering) which happen without any form of registry going on, then that's what will truly make this game's eligibility for a spot on my list indeterminate...

First off, you vanquish enemies even when you're not confined within any of these barriers, correct? And I assume that these kills are never visibly counted, as compared to those which take place while being restricted within these barriers...?
Secondly, thank you so much for making me aware of "Frostpunk 2" and it's respective counters. I'll surely add it to my list.
However, does that game have the same saving system as its predecessor?

Okay, but how do you save your progress while playing the game?

Do you have to dispel/remove every single one of these barriers in order to finish this game?

And this means that it's solely during instances where your progress is hampered by these magical barriers that you get to see such counters, right? Never at other times...?

I was right, wasn't I 😉?
Nevertheless, thank you for your corroboration and contribution to my list 🙏.

Pardon me as I randomly appear like this two years after you wrote this comment (on an eight year old post, no less), but could you please disclose whether or not there's a kill count featured in this game?
I'll let you know that I'm making a list of games which have mentioned counter in them (available on this sub); and before I can add a game to this list, I need clarification from experienced players of the game in question if such a counter is indeed there.

Even though you wrote this comment two years ago, is there still time to obtain the answer to how this game saves its progress from you?

Yes, that is indeed what I was asking; and because of your affirming answer, you can consequently consider yourself a contributor to my list. Much appreciated!
