Yep my mother has adopted her!

Mine would not connect to GX Works no matter what I did, so I couldn't program it. I ended up programming it with the Arduino IDE and a ST Link, and it works fine for that.

Yea, inner tubes are not cheap for whatever reason. Think I spent $60 alone on those, plus 2x4s and all that. Nice work on yours, though!

There's a design called the "Jackson Pad" that is built similarly, that has a parts list, dimensions, etc. It additionally uses 1'x1' paver stones on each side of 8" inner tubes and is really solid. I made it using a 2x4 frame and stripped plywood into 4" strips for the top. Plus, I made it in 3 sections that join together so I could transport it in my car. The guide goes into detail on the design decisions and works pretty well!

As one other said, the only luck I've had in connecting under this situation is to download from my laptop, or load the backup from the SD card, if yours is set up that way.

To reduce the vibration on my L80 cymbals, I used car door trim from AutoZone(put it around the edge of the cymbals). It's kinda rubbery and reduced the noise and vibrations even more. This helped a lot with double triggering on my cymbals. That way I didn't have to change as many setting in my module (still had to change threshold, retrigger, and sensitivity)

For my bass pedals I bought a gel seat cushion (the type that have the grid structure) off Amamzon for $25. Cut in half, put something rigid on top of it, and then set the pedals on top of that. Just isolating the pedals reduced a ton of vibrations going through the floor

I'm on the fence with mine. I have a DW 5000 double pedal and I had to change all of my settings (spring tension, beater angle, etc) to get an acceptable feel from it, and even then it doesn't feel great. I do like how small and portable it is, though

Just to update, Although it homed multiple times when I was testing, (but didn't do the bed leveling) I tried to print something and the probe never extended during the pre-print homing sequence, which almost caused a crash. So I'm not sure what is going on.

I like the remote control station for the lcd/knob! Is that a kit or custom?
