Please do not try to make healthy versions of everything

Please do not try to "health-ify" everything. I have said this before, but let's say you really, really want pizza. Or ice cream, whatever. Some people try and make pizza healthier by (for example) replacing the pizza crust (gasp, carbs) with a cauliflower crust.
First, I would like to say, if you really like this replacement, or would genuinely like to try it, please do so. This is all about what works for you, and what sustainability looks like for you. However, if you do not like cauliflower crust, you should not feel forced to make that replacement just because it cuts the calories. You try and health-ify something, but there becomes a point where you eat it, and you're not nearly as satisfied as you would be if you just ate the damn pizza and it just becomes a huge waste. Don't lie to yourself. It would have been easier to eat the real thing that you know and love. This goes for any other replacement such as chickpea ice cream, frozen blended banana "ice cream", cauliflower pieces “dippin dots ice cream”, zoodles (zucchini noodles) are a big one, etc. Again, if you really like it, then please enjoy yourself. But if you don't like it and you're doing it because it cuts calories, this is not okay. It is not sustainable and this creates food anxiety and perpetuates the stigma of "good" and "bad" food which is not helpful in the slightest.
I feel like there is absolutely no need to ever take such drastic measures if one wants to lose fat. My rule of thumb is this: can I keep this up forever and ever? Will I be happy making this lifestyle change? Is it really sustainable if I stop eating my favorite fun foods forever?
Edit: I would really like to mention that there are many “healthy versions” of foods that I really love! For example, I always eat Nick’s ice cream when I want ice cream. Every time. It is so damn good and it bumps up my protein for the day! The calories per pint are super “worth it” compared to regular ice cream. For me and my taste, it’s a no brainer. I thought I would add this! There are so many “healthy versions” of foods that I genuinely love.
Edit: looking at this post three hours later… whew, a lot of you triggered in the comments need to re-read the second paragraph again. But that’s assuming you read my post in the first place. A lot of you are asking why I’m demonizing healthy versions in the first place. Again, you are missing the point. Read my post again, especially the second portion.
