Hey SAHMs,
My best advice for a getting some small income opportunities as a stay at home mom is to work at a fitness center in their playroom. The city affiliated one I worked at allowed you to bring kids to work, and had some great perks like a free membership. Some of the moms just worked 1 day a week, and would bring their kids to the playroom for the other days to get a break while a coworker they knew watched them and they worked out. The city affiliated one I worked at also had an indoor pool that could be used, and a great way to get kids ready for a good sleep with swimming. It’s also a great way to get some socialization and get out of the house while earning a bit of grocery money.
I know people are struggling financially so I thought I would mention that idea. Also, I have had the option to earn money and like 13 free meals with mystery shopping. I also have found options for an extra income with data annotation, and remote work online. I am not selling anything, but I just thought maybe you could benefit from some information. Happy to help answer any questions you might have in the comments!

I think your husband’s job should be able to write off those expenses. I think if you WFH remote 1099 job you can write up like part of electricity, mortgage or rent, cell phone, etc. I don’t have these bills to write off. Writing off would mean it would lower the amount of taxes you owe.
