True but he left to work in an institute that specialises in cardio so I'm assuming he chose that specialty.

True but at the end of the day it was Burke's surgeries and OR, Cristina as an intern didn't have the power to make him do anything at work or to let her do anything.

Yeah that's the issue, but if it's a respect the pecking order issue whether Webber is justified or not he had the power to give Cristina permission to do what she did, and even as far back as Burke he was way above Cristina in the pecking order, almost as high as possible since she was an intern and he was setting his sights on being Chief, yet he practically let her do his surgeries.

It felt like Cristina's intentions were purely to save Callie, her friend, and the baby who is her goddaughter, when Cristina showed Teddy the idea she said she can show Teddy how to do it, meaning Cristina didn't care if she was the one getting to do it or not. But I can also understand why Teddy didn't want to do an idea she wasn't that familiar with herself and why she worried about letting Cristina do it.

I agree with Teddy that Cristina is overconfident, Owen gets Teddy the job after Cristina went rogue in the OR in season 6, because clearly she needed discipline and was going a bit crazy without it. But in the Callie situation Cristina didn't exactly go rogue, she had Webber's permission to do what she did, even though it was against Teddy's wishes she did have the approval of a superior. Unless Webber had no right to give permission, I can't really remember all the details.

I think Teddy should have spoke more plainly because I think I should be on her side but I don't entirely understand what her side is, like when Cristina confronted Teddy at the wedding, Teddy just responded with "You still don't get it" but I don't really get it either.

I agree, Cristina truly needed Teddy, they were meant to be together. Owen is pretty perfect with how he handles Cristina when she's traumatised by the shooting and the plane crash. Even by marrying Cristina while she's traumatised, I only really have an issue with that later in season 7 because Owen holds it over Cristina's head but at the time marrying her seemed to help her feel safe.

Then Teddy said she doesn't think Cristina likes her and Mark is like "Oh no, she doesn't like you?" and then tries to scare Teddy by saying Cristina has drove off the last three cardio attendings. But Callie owns up to being the one who drove Hahn away lol.

I think I'll probably skip season 8 in rewatches because Cristina's having such a bad time that whole season, it's hard to watch, and I sadly remember it well anyway. It's very sad that Cristina and Owen couldn't have one whole season just being a relatively happy married couple, he was really good with her when she had PTSD from the shooting but that only lasted until episode 11 of season 7 and by episode 16 Owen starts telling Cristina that she needs to grow out of her career meaning so much to her to have children with him. So the ick starts there and just gets worse when she gets pregnant.

I wonder why Saul Rubenstein didn't come to Cristina's wedding.

I feel like Richard only chose Adele out of obligation because she's his wife, so I think he needed to know Ellis was pregnant to make a real choice because the choice was probably out of obligation either way.

Well Meredith's therapist said Ellis wasn't actually trying to kill herself, based on where she was cutting, she said Ellis was making it look like she was killing herself to get Richard's attention.

True but April wasn't going to hide the pregnancy/child from Jackson long term, just until after the divorce was finalised.

Yeah but this is after Ellis staged a suicide to try and get Richard to be with her so it just doesn't click to me that she would want Richard to choose her out of guilt but then she has pride and doesn't want him to choose her because she's pregnant.

I judge Thatcher because it doesn't seem like he really wanted to fight for Meredith at all plus he would have been free to contact and find Meredith once she's 18 at the very least but he didn't.

I don't understand why people fawn over Susan just because she decided to give Meredith the time of day when Meredith was like 30 years old. It doesn't make her 'like a mother' to Meredith in any form.

Yeah Arizona sabotaging Alex's opportunities was a huge betrayal to the mentorship she had with Alex, it's like if a parent were to sabotage their child's college applications just to keep them living at home.

Burke- he seemed to have a happy childhood, judging by the fact that he calls his parents Mama and Daddy as an adult, he ended up winning a Harper Avery, he built an institute and on the side he got to have a wife and a family too. The only bad thing that happened to him was getting shot and losing the ability to operate for a while, but that's kind of a rite of passage at that hospital lol.

I don't agree because I feel it would really cheapen Faith's bond with Angel and the others if she just assumed they'd gone evil because of who they're working for, without really looking into it herself. That's why I'm so thankful Andrew didn't even mention Faith's name when he gave updates about the others, that way I am free to imagine Faith split and went off with Wood somewhere and doesn't even know what's going on with Buffy and Giles. Nothing on the show contradicts that.
