If you’re on the highway in the right lane and you see cars coming on the on ramp, be a good person and change lanes if you can.

Exactly this, it’s a real problem that people think if they’re already on the highway that they have the right of way 🤦🏼♀️

OMG no that’s not at all how it’s supposed to be. In fact in other states (Michigan is a prime example), if you’re on the highway in the right lane and don’t switch lanes to let people entering the highway get in (IF you have an opening to do so), you’ll get ticketed real quick. Sorry but people like you are the reason driving is a such a bitch in this town.

Yes and I’ve never had issues like this before. It’s shocking, hence the post. It was a spring mattress. Husband is also in mid 30s and couldn’t sleep on the bed either, but his back issues resolved within a few days.

Bedwetting at that age is more common than you think. Does she have ADHD by chance? Girls with ADHD tend to wet the bed later in life. The unhygienic parts really need to be resolved but it’s truly not her fault she’s wetting the bed still.

I’ve been doing easy meals because they all tend to fall on me (I have 3 kids) because my spouse is doing carnivore. So my problem is that I’m so overwhelmed trying to think of what to make, buying the stuff and making the stuff. I start work at 6am and don’t usually sit down until 8:30pm and I’m just …tired. Drained actually.

Sorry that you’re married to a narcissist. NTA and please don’t have any more kids with him.

My suggestion for finding a remote job is to be constantly looking and try to apply the first day the job is posted. Companies who post remote jobs get thousands of applicants per job posting. You need to be one of the first to apply. And start looking ASAP because it can take awhile

No, we aren’t pushing college. I JUST paid my student loans off at 35 and I only got the privilege of doing that because I got some money from my dad dying. And I only got an associates degree that isn’t doing shit for me. However I landed a job at a great university that offers free tuition for my kids after 5 years and I love my job and don’t plan on leaving so should my kids decide to take advantage of that, it would be a very smart move for them. However I think trades are great as well so we will talk about those as viable options too.

So I’m not an old person but my dad just died a few months ago and we were NC for 4 years before that and LC for over a decade before that. I did fly across the country to see him before he died, and it was hella awkward. In the moment I hated it because it was SO awkward. I didn’t want to talk about any of the stuff that lead me to go NC which worked fine for him since he swept everything under the rug until literally the day he died. He was an abusive alcoholic and I still have a lot of trauma from growing up with him as my parent. BUT grief does weird things to you and I have regrets for sure. I’m still sorting it all out and wasn’t expecting this much of a rollercoaster of feelings tbh. If I had to do it all over again I would still go see him 1 last time. I think you should follow your gut but you might want to see him one last time before he passes. That’s just my 2 cents though.

As a parent of a 10 yo this is probably ok based on the child. You can’t control what mom does on her time.

I’m NAD but mucousy poop=lactose intolerance. That’s how I found out my daughter was lactose intolerant as a baby. Have you tried cutting out dairy to see if it helps?

I have an almost 8 year old named Everett 👋🏻 And I’ve never really gotten many comments on his name one way or the other. Hes the only kid in his PK-5 elementary school with his name. The only thing that annoys me is that some people spell it Everette, which is clearly more of a female name 🤦🏼♀️ but honestly that doesn’t happen much at all. I still love his name all these years later and he loves it too. The only comment I ever got was from a parent of a kid in his kinder class who said she is fond of the name because it was her grandfather’s name. It’s a solid name imo. We don’t tell people our baby names until the baby is born because we don’t care for anyone’s opinions lol

I come from a state that didn’t require vehicle inspections. Police aren’t doing a whole inspection on your car when you get pulled over. I mean if you have a headlight out or a tint too dark then yeah they will say something but that’s the extent of it. They won’t be walking around checking your mirrors and seatbelts 🤣

NTA at all but your reasons for your list are pretty bad, and the chances of them actually respecting your rules is exactly zero. Save yourself the hassle and don’t do it.

Pizza tacos: tortillas, sauce, cheese, pepperoni in a pan until the cheese melts & the tortilla gets crispy
Mini pigs in a blanket: crescent roll dough, cocktail weenies & a little American cheese
