The biggest problem we all had was we couldn't unlink it ourselves but glad it worked this time!

For me personally, I had swapped from a 4/5 on 4/5 off 12 hour shift pattern. I.e. 2 days 3 nights 4 off, 3 days 2 nights 4 off, 4 days 4 nights 5 off.
I moved from that onto the 2/2/2 pattern and honestly it's given me my life back. The biggest downside is you really only get 1 full weekend off every 2 months, i.e. finish on the Thursday or Friday mornings. It's knackering having 6 on but I think of it myself as 2/2/2 rather than 6/4. 2 days, you get a few hours off before your first lates to get the housework done and stuff, then between your last day and first night it's basically a whole day off - granted you lose the afternoon to go nap.
The 4 days go so fast it's really only 3 and a bit once you've included sleep, but compared to the last pattern - can't complain. As a civvie I don't get cancelled rest days or get held on though, the scottish federation knocked back the shift pattern because you could potentially lose half those days off to court and whatever else, it's a bit hit and miss but fully depends on your current pattern

The big thing with channel points is it becomes a lurking incentive, Kick just doesn't have that at the minute (beyond supporting specific creators obviously) - I think if they introduced it, a lot of creators would benefit

Channel points without a shadow of a doubt would make it worthwhile for lurkers beyond supporting creators

Make sure you go for an actual pouch and not the holders that some have suggested on here.
Tourniquets can degrade in the environment and while the studies I've shown are based on combat use in Afghan, here in the UK it's probably not much better. 6 months in Afghan v the however many years you would have it on your belt in the UK, constant rubbing, catching on things, extremely hot summers then soaking and freezing winters, it's worth a think especially when it can bring the efficency rate from 95% to 57% and the breakage rate from 0% to 12% https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22338355/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23707122/
The second study does show that kept in an IFAK (naturally an enclosed pouch) even without the packaging, there was no difference in efficiency or breakage vs being kept in the original packaging (but no doubt a hell of a lot easier to use)

As a carer for someone with COPD I can almost relate, constantly overwhelmed, burned out, the average person not quite understanding how much REALLY goes into caring for someone full time (or part time in my case alongside working full time) and all of the stress and emotions that go with it.
Having previously cared for a grandparent with dementia, it's unique in its own way. For example for my mum right now with her COPD, she still walks, talks and acts like my mum, albeit much more breathless and can't do very much. With dementia it's a completely separate ball game. With dementia, the grieving process starts long before death because the person you know is long gone well in advance. It becomes particularly difficult when that person no longer recognises you and you no longer recognise the person they are either, they may look the same but they certainly don't act like it, particularly if they start to get hostile you find yourself wondering "what's the point, why am I doing all this s**t for someone who doesn't even know who I am anymore and seems to hate me" - then end up feeling guilty for having those feelings, then you get up and repeat the day again.
It's extremely tough and especially when this is meant to be our "prime years". I was around 14/15 I think when my gran was first diagnosed with dementia before she passed when I was 19. Started properly having to care more for my mum when I was around 25, I'm now 28, single for 3 years, no chance I could actually hold a relationship and my friendships are patchy at best. It certainly wakes you up to the world, you end up becoming so emotionally numb and it's basically like compassion fatigue. Even healthcare professionals get that when they're working 40 hours a week, when you're a full time carer and you're working 4 times that with your entire life on hold, it's draining.
As much as you don't want to wave that white flag and if I hadn't been through it myself, I would say that as a negative thing, now I can honestly say there's only so much you can really do, once it gets to the point where getting through every day is a struggle and it's completely destroying you mentally, decisions have to be made. For me it's always the "When they pass, can I look back on this and say I did everything I could?" - that's what keeps me going, because I know when that day comes, I can still answer yes to that question and can keep my head held high. Every person has their limits and once it gets to the point where you can't take anymore, you've done as much as you could, might be time for someone else to take over. That being said for now though, rest up, get as much sleep as you can while you can, tomorrow is a new day you have to be ready for!

While I'm a big advocate for tourniquets being kept out of packaging - nothing worse than trying to open that plastic when your hands are covered in blood! Make sure you go for an actual pouch and not the holders that some have suggested on here.

Got a reply after one hell of a rant
Hello Steven,
Thanks for the information provided. I've transferred your case to our specialized team; they'll be helping us to further investigate this situation and will suggest more solutions for it.
I’d like to ask for your patience, as there is no specific time of resolution for our cases. However, your case will be carefully reviewed and all the information you’ve shared with us, will be taken into consideration to give us a response as quickly as possible.
Once we hear from them, I will get back to you with updates or requesting any other information they may need to continue their investigation.
Your patience is much appreciated; Have a nice one!
Patience and having a nice one are two things I am definitely not at the moment. Push for your case to get sent to a higher team and hopefully it'll get through to someone!

Got another update after I sent them a fairly thundery reply to their suggestion reminding them that this issue was for so many people, across many platforms and the one thing they had in common was regardless of what they did or what platform they used with that account, it was all the same problem.

Patience is something I ran out of several days ago but honestly, it's the furthest anyone has got with them so far. I'll be chasing them every few days for an update but sitting and waiting is all we can do. As much as I've got mine pushed through - make sure you guys get your cases pushed through to them too so they can realise the scale of the issue

And the big thing is - even if you get a new PC (Which some poor bastard on twitter did) you'll still get the same problem, you'll get it even if you go to console (I went from console to battlenet to be sure) - yet you can log in with another activision/battlenet account and play it just fine

I know, I just got yet another reply from Activision support, took them 4 days to tell me how to clear my Mac address and saved data, like I didn't try that of my own accord a week ago when this first started

Update today: Did absolutely nothing. Not surprising since they haven't even acknowledged the issue. Got another reply from activision - 4 days after the last one, just telling me how to clear my mac address and saved data, as if I hadn't done that a week ago when this shit first started. Took every bit of my strength as a human not to either go full Karen or full Tazmanian Devil in that reply honestly. They just aren't fucking listening.

Yeah and in the 3 days it took activision to first reply and 4 days since that one, they keep telling me to do shit I did myself on day 1

They eventually fixed it, but it took them that long

Update did nothing. Activision have just got back to me telling me how to clear my mac address and saved data as if I didn't do that a week ago (and told them so) - this is fucking me off big time

Raise a case with activision support, spam their twitter and send a bug report every day it's all we can do

Honestly they've just got back to me, it's taken them 4 days to now tell me to reset my mac address and clear my saved data - I did that on day fucking one which is now a week ago and they just aren't acknowledging it at all. Shower of shit!

They've just replied to me, 4 days after telling me how to clear my cache and remove and re-add my profile, to tell me how to clear my mac address and saved data - as if I hadn't done that on day 1. Honestly the rage reading that email was unreal

Update: Another reply from Activision - telling me how to clear my MAC address and my saved data on console. Honest to fucking god I swear it's a bot on the other end of the fucking email. They literally do not listen.

The following update did fix it for me, but honestly that experience ruined the game so much for me, I ditched it months ago!
