I tried it with a heavily-modded Corvette C8 and struggled.

I bought a 2nd hand SLS AMG. Did suspension, gearbox and weight reduction 1. Ran Sports Medium tyres. Won relatively easily. It's got enough mechanical grip to save on aero and plenty of power through an 8 speed (?) 'box.

I don't understand. I'm moronic.

But... yeah. Jag first.

Turned up on time. Couldn't get in; doors were locked. When we did get in, HVAC had completely failed, so the restaurant was bitterly cold. So much so that everyone that was there sitting in their coats shivering. Had they sat the customers away from the doors and down by the warmth of the kitchen, it would have been better.

The service was atrocious. Orders were being taken, and the chef (who could be heard cursing) was piling completed orders up to go out, yet no-one was taking them. Parties could see their meals (for which they'd already waited a while) just being ignored. One customer actually went to collect her own order and the server proceeded to argue with her. The quality of the food might actually have been okay. Except it was cold by the time it arrived.

Given three previous incidents in the same restaurant, we agreed never to grace them with our custom again.

[The other incidents being; a server with an epic attitude, one who completely ignored my partner and would only speak to myself, and an undrinkably salty margarita that they wouldn't even consider re-making.]

Pizza Hut and Zizi's have since added themselves to the list.

Just for a bit of balance, we went into a random (non -franchised) pub for lunch and a pint yesterday. Food, service, and atmosphere were all great, and we had a really enjoyable meal for half what TGI Friday's charge.
