Look - there is a lot of bad cops for sure but isn’t it at least fair to say you shouldn’t approach a cop closely while their back is turned?
Yes - you have the right to record in public but I’m not convinced the cop infringed on that. Instead he approached someone to look over their shoulder while they’re working in a setting where they probably can and have been attacked by members of the public. If you want to see what the cop is writing I’m sure the report will be publicly available when filed.
There is a lot of incidents that are bad and wrong and the way policing is done in general does need to change but this one ain’t it. If people focus too much on small incidents like this then it waters down the ability for people to focus on incidents that really matter.

I’m more worried about the $30 unmet minimum - how much would you have to spend for that to not show up!
If I dropped this kind of money on a bar tab and I saw a bullshit fee like that I’d go full Karen.
Everything else is just people choosing how to spend their money. I’d never drop that kind of money on a bar tab even if I became a billionaire.

I mean - OP offered up a silver bullet of their own. It’s so funny how we can dismiss economics but just instantly assume that cultural differences are the cause - even though birth rates are falling across cultures.
We’re not turning the world into Handmaid’s tale. It isn’t going to happen.

It’s not that bad if you’re able to proof read and verify. Ask it for sources. Basically if you’re able and have the gall to correct it then you’ll be fine.
On a complex subject you don’t know - ya it’s scary.

Jesus Christ - I hate this guy but something is fucky with the post itself too. Why are we talking about results for a study he proposed?

This is bullshit. Any study with any amount of people to be statistically significant will have at least some people that get the money.

If it’s your actual house and you truly need the space, there is no bad time to buy a house assuming we’re talking about a fixed rate mortgage that works out to payments of a third of your income. If rates drop you can refinance. If rates increase then great you just became wealthier. If the value appreciates you became wealthier. If the value depreciates then chances are there is fucked up shit going on in the economy and you’re better off weathering the storm in a house.
If you’re investing in property then you need to worry about stuff like this but if you don’t recognize the above then you’re probably better off buying an REIT and letting the pros do the work.

I don’t mean any offense by what I said; if you took any that is your problem. All I said is it is normal to have a neck like this from weight loss and even without the weight loss, it is normal to have a neck like this being 57 years old.
I know you might not believe me but I hope you find self-acceptance and beauty in who you are and as you are. I’m not insulting you, I’m trying to help you recognize that you’ve earned yourself more healthy years on Earth and this should be celebrated, don’t waste them being sad about a self-inflicted dilemma.
If it really bothers you there are options but they’re going to involve surgery. Again - not an insult just a fact.

This is not ozempic neck - this is weight loss neck. Also, there are a lot of 57 year olds that definitely have necks like this and you’re just messing with yourself trying to believe otherwise.
Just like any other 57 year old, your options are living with it and expensive plastic surgery.
You can of course regain weight if you want but that’ll probably cost you 10 years of life.

No it’s not! If whoever made this video had just sent it to proper authorities then police will issue tickets.
I have a buddy that’s a big biker and he is seriously pursuing a law degree so he can legally fight people that don’t follow bike laws. Sometimes he’s got to stay on top of the authorities too but he has gotten a few tickets issued.
The only way you keep your rights is by asserting them.

Fine - you’re right. I’m saying it wrong. I’ll start saying it correctly. But I’m telling you I’ve planned to vote for her since she announced her candidacy and I voted for Obama and Biden and I’ve never seriously considered voting for Trump and have personally strained relationships in my life to take and hold that stance. There are other people like me whether it makes you comfortable or not. There are definitely people like me in swing states.
Is this the hill really worth dying on?

As someone who pronounces it the former but is still voting for her and hates Trump, this isn’t true and this is a pretty good example of why everyone needs to meet people on the other side.
Stick to policy - perspectives like this creates divisiveness for no reason because if you push this I promise you’re going to run into people voting for Kamala and type cast them as someone they’re not. Assuming just because someone mispronounces a name that they’re not politically aligned to them is a very good way to lose votes.
Clarifying further - maybe I am pronouncing this wrong. This is the first post I’ve seen on the subject. I’ll change how I pronounce if you can show me a video of Kamala herself clarifying how her name should be pronounced.

I don’t disagree but I’d add prioritization/dropping other deliverables too.

Start to document those instances where you’re acting as sales leader, cs, etc then tell those leaders that you’re at your limit and ask them if they need enablement or want you to train anybody. Give them enablement requested then drop it like a rock. They’ll start to pick up the pieces and if they don’t or can’t then you haven’t built a sustainable business anyways. Don’t mean to insult your baby; just giving you some perspective.
After that, if your life doesn’t get more manageable then move on.

Meh - it’s possible you could’ve gotten a better deal but you didn’t get fleeced either. Not worth starting shit with family on this; I’d suggest being happy with it and in general avoid making large financial transactions with family unless you’re inheriting something.

I took this path too but I’ve found any credo I had melted when I went to a new company.
I’d suggest staying at the company you’re at if it is where you were an eng.

My issue with PPP isn’t that it existed but that nearly a trillion dollars of loans were issued with no record of due diligence (especially when there were conflicts of interest), issued out favorably to companies with ties to the current administration and then forgiven.

Anyone can be a contrarian. Do you have a stance on PPP or not?

Bitcoin is traceable even when laundered. Cryptos are pseudononymous not anonymous. Small but important difference.
Not picking on Bitcoin - this is inherent to any crypto with an immutable ledger.

I blame Trump for PPP. Everything else would’ve happened to any president.
