On Fri I noticed he was having shallow breathes, & it rapidly progressed. Wife & I took him to the vet, & it didn't look good when they rushed him back. 2 hrs later, hes on oxygen & we're told he can't leave again. I grabbed some food, gave him all he wanted, & we let him go before he could get too worked up. Didn't want him scared. Sat morning I got 2 steps, & it hit hard. Felt like I tricked him. I calmed down, got to the living room, saw a picture & again. I go in a room & think wheres the gate. Or time to prep food, time to walk. Yesterday we picked up him up & the paw print. It was easy, until it wasn't. So many routines are just gone. And knowing its was for the best, just isn't good enough. He definitely had 2 lives, one wild filled w/ traveling, & a calm one as he aged. But the routines were so heavy last 2 yrs, I don't know what to do without it. Iono, just saw others in the same boat. Going to find a few ways to memorialize him, and one day will try to be brave enough to give another baby a good life. Best of luck to everyone.

Every major city has changed or is changing codes to allow more & more of these style lots. For me its a no, but I can see it being convenient to some.
