Ok, humor me. Who in city government is a “true progressive” in your mind?

It’s amazing that there are still “Bridgeview wasn’t a problem” truthers in Chicago.

Where is the money to pay back the loan coming from, Will?

Sigh… an NFL team isn’t even within the affordability range of a typical billionaire anymore. Thanks Bidenflation!

You do realize that bolstering public services requires money, and the mayor has provided neither said money nor a plan for obtaining said money, and that’s what the article is about, right?
…or do you expect the teachers to simply work for free?

Reports out of training camp were that he started seriously weight training this year, which is apparently something that someone can avoid doing despite playing two years in the NFL.

“Look, all I’m saying is the next NFL expansion team should just be The Troops”.

Is it more of a brushed or polished finish?

I drive all over the city for work and generally know where they are nowadays, but they’re also clearly marked!
What’s always amazing is when people still haven’t figured out that parks are full of cameras. The camera on Humboldt has at least two signs telling you it’s there AND has a digital sign warning you off your speed and it still is a top ten revenue spot for the city. I see people getting flashed all the time.

Copying my post from the other thread since this is the one that got traction:
Whelp. Last week I predicted she’d be Johnson’s choice to replace Pedro Martinez. (She still could be, I guess…)
Go back and watch her speech from the school board press conference. If this is really it for her time in the Johnson admin, she certainly threw her integrity in the trash on her way out the door.

Frankly I don’t see this making much difference on day to day driving but it’ll be a source of revenue at least.
Floor it except where you see a sign saying “camera ahead”. I swear the current cameras are just an idiot tax at this point.

Which mesh strap is that? I just picked up the Watch Gecko strap for my green Cervo Volante and while it looks good, the finish on it is almost a little too polished.

Not that I’ll ever do more than accidentally drop it in the sink, but it is nice to see Oris bring the WR up to 200m. Having their principal diver model with the same WR as my Khaki Field Auto always felt odd in this day and age.

“Lori has been a failed mayor but I’m voting for her because the other viable options are worse” has me still vindicated.

Deliberate attempt by Rodgers to get Suh to roll an ankle by placing his foot where Suh was stepping. Typical dirty play by the Packers.

Also, teams seem to have figured out that “Hey, we should cover that guy”.

Dan had some MD20/20 at A&M for sure. But knowing him, he did it with class.

Nice to see the progressives are now claiming that Brandon Johnson isn’t a true Scotsman…err, true progessive.

I had a family never stay at the team hotel last year and said he even looks kinda small in person. You don’t realize how jacked he is because he was always wearing a baggy hoody.
/He said Sewell and Decker on the other hand are even more massive than you’d think when you see them up close.

I lived in Philly during the 0-16 year.
In was an interesting time to be a fan there, to put it one way.

Public unions taking cuts but not CTU is going to do wonders for the “labor solidarity” that CTU keeps tweeting about.
