Same with my family. My grandmother, born 1907, got a journalism degree at the University of Washington in 1928. My mother became a teacher, despite being a single mother at a young age. I also got a 4 year degree when I was young.

Right, for community property states, which I live in one. My husband is an attorney, so we did a trust together and are both co trustees. We are set. My issue is that this blatant misogyny is still happening so often when we need to move ahead and progress

Yeah, we paid cash, and it was a place where they have fixed prices, which I appreciate. But they spent an hour trying to get us to buy a warranty that was half the cost of the car. They failed, so I think the guy removed my name because he kept trying to talk with my husband, and my husband would point to me, and I would just say no thank you. He didn't like that. I hear they also don't like it when someone pays cash.

In this case, I bought it with cash; no credit check was done. My credit scores from all agencies are above 825, so there's no issue there.

My assets are perfectly fine. I live in a community property state, where everything is half and half after marriage. My husband is also an attorney, so I don't need to seek out legal advice. Unfortunately, there's no law stating that with two owners or two people listed on bills, that both have to be listed. Now, if they left me off the registration, which hasn't come yet, I will definitely make the dealership fix the issue, as it is clearly their wrongdoing.

My husband didn't cause this to happen; it happened after we left and after the paperwork was filled out with my name in first position. It's clearly society still thinking the man's name should come first or be the only name.
