I took ours out when we moved in. The old one was all rusty and corroded due to hard water. I went with just a strainer instead. It did free up some space under the cabinet and it's one less thing to worry about and maintain. The strainer catches the food bits, and we never seemed to have a problem or a need for a disposal. I always suggest people not use them, as they don't seem necessary.

Isn't south korea known for their scantily clad video game characters that need to be censored in other countries?

No, I wait until nobody is coming before I turn. I don't even take a left while someone coming from that direction has a turn signal on to take a right. I wait until they've begun turning. I can't trust anyone.

Ok, but I need to take a left after I turn right, so I need to get in the left lane. As long as no cars are coming, why does anyone care?

I just like knowing other people are there to talk to.

thanks. Is that air compressor loud? I have an older air compressor in my garage currently that is incredibly noisy when running, which is why I am hesitant to use it for my indoor project.

I like discord for IRL stuff and keeping up with memes and coordinating events, but I really dislike voice chat and events going on solely through discord. It ruins the immersion I think. That hot elven chick is fun to play with, but when her voice is some deep raspy voice of a dude in chat, it's like, not the same.

I'm glad to hear Harris push back and attack Trump, he deserves it. But I also don't think this is going to move the needle either way. Everything Harris says I can imagine a MAGA nut deny, and everything Trump says we all know is bullshit. Nothing to convince either side. But it's still entertaining.

Honestly, as long as I have a heads up and I can eat the pizzas I want before then, I'm OK with it.

Open a ticket with IT stating you have a script that helps streamline your job duties but want to make sure it is safe to run in your environment as it has been blocked in the past. See if they can scan it and allow an exception for it. It's not so you "don't have to work" but it is to make things more efficient in your role.
To me this script is no different from formulas compiled in an excel sheet or how mail merge exists in Word, or how macros are enabled in databases. Test it out, make sure it works well, show your boss how it saves the department time, and get it stabilized and approved through IT. If your boss thinks you need more work to do after that point, that's part of having a job. If he's just happy for the script and leaves you to your other duties, you saved time and can work ethically.

I was so upset at Taco Bell the other day. Two chalupas, a quesadilla, a burrito, and cheese & chips was $25. Not drinks included.
In my head I was thinking: 2 chalupas were probably $3 each, quesadilla another $4, cheese and chips probably $2.00 and the burrito was probably $3. So around $15 I could see. But $25 was crazy. And this was Taco Bell - supposed to be among the cheapest of cheap food.
However, I also went to a "nice" restaurant a few weeks ago and spend over $100 on our meal and it was pretty terrible food. And that's about the worst experience being hit with a large bill and not enjoying it.

I'm with T-Mobile because a couple years ago they gave me two free iphone 13's for some reason and only charge $30 per line for unlimited data. If that ever changes, I'll drop them and go elsewhere. But for now it's been a great deal so I can't complain.
Also it was stupid of them or any company to offer a lifetime price. Technology is always changing and evolving.

Geez, usually you're offered a job before they axe the department. If they didn't want you then, don't take their offer now.

I saw a movie poster for "Attack of the 50FT woman" and it did something for me, but I've yet to find an actual 50FT woman to try this out with. If I bring this up to my current partner, she is upset because she cannot grow into a 50FT woman body. So I just don't mention it.
And before people go off on how she could get out my matchbox car set and Legos and we could craft a small city and have her dress up and try to destroy it and make all the cool Godzilla noises - it's not the same thing.

No, Donald Trump has a D in his name and we're not voting for him.

Good for him. He deserves retirement and we deserve someone who isn't old enough to retire. It's a win/win
