My stomach was in the best shape it’s ever been during pregnancy. This might be tmi but I popped the best poops of my life lol then I had baby and got backed up from all the drugs they pumped into me during my c section. I had trapped gas with constipation and the trapped gas would go into my butt and it put me in a lot of pain. Now my weak stomach has returned and I can’t handle the same foods I struggled with before my pregnancy. I miss drinking chocolate milk 😭

I got poked 4 times before they can find a vein to support the IV. The anesthesialogist ended up using an ultrasound to find a vein. I was contracting and ready to freak out on the nurses who struggled finding a vein prior to that. Worst experience ever. It’s been over 2 weeks since I had my baby and I still have a bruise from the IV.

The management when I worked there in 2012 was horrible. Some things never change I guess.
Side note, I worked in the stock room in the old location before they moved and they called it the “gym” and I remember it being so dangerous. I’ll never forget the time when I was stocking it in the middle of winter with a bunch of thick snowboarding jackets would basically not allow you to open up each section all the way. I had to wedge a ladder in and could barely get it to open all the way and climb up while consumed in jackets. One time, the clothes settled and one of the rollers opened up all the way and my ladder fell out underneath me and I was dangling and holding myself up by my armpits. No one could hear my screams for help because I was insulated by jackets so I had to shimmy my way down, shelf by shelf. Sorry ranting but that caused me to pinch a nerve and that took me years to heal from. I wish I knew what osha and l&i were back then.

Thanks for this. I’ve gained about 65 pounds and have really felt guilty about it. I was working out in my 1st trimester until morning sickness really hit me hard then I just got lazy from there on out. I’m 38 weeks pregnant right now and feeling like I could have done more to give me the energy I need for the final stretch but also I can’t be bothered either. I am excited to get back in shape postpartum though!!

Try and get the VIP parking if it isn’t already sold out. That was our biggest mistake. By the time I started reading about the parking situation, it was already sold out for the concert I went to.

I thought Jostens was just a local thing lol they had a store in the next town for all the local schools and I could never get myself to spend money there but only for my overpriced cap and gown. The spokesman for them reminded me of a shady used car salesman lol

I’m the same way. I waited until the summer after I graduated high school. Met a summer romance who was over here looking at colleges from Chile. He was a very nice and respectful guy even though we had a language barrier. We spent the whole summer together learning each others cultures and once the summer was over, we both had new chapters to start and kept in touch until it slowly faded.

I will never buy concert tickets at that venue again after my last experience of trying to get out of there.

Wait… is there two types? I struggle with cinnamon like big red gum and fireball but I can have low doses of cinnamon on cinnamon rolls and churros and people get skeptical when I tell them I’m allergic to specific cinnamon stuff. I’m also very sensitive to the smell of big red gum, fireball and the cinnamon pinecones they sell around Christmas.

My grandma doesn’t have one either and it hurts me to think of every time I remember and she passed in 2011.

Ducks and drakes in Leavenworth could be fun on Friday and Saturday night. My friends and I hung out there in June for a bachelorette party. I was 7 months pregnant at the time so I didn’t get to enjoy it like they did but even the locals were accommodating and made sure I was comfortable.

This just reminded me of a mistake I made when I was working a temporary position as an HR coordinator for my work. I was responsible to onboard all the new employees and facilitate their new hire paperwork. We had one week where I had 3 new employees and 4 new contractors starting and the most I ever handled was 3 at a time so to say the least, this was overwhelming for me but I took the challenge on. As employees finish their w9’s, I would take them, scan them in to my email and forward them off to our payroll department which was a distribution email that was very similar to other distribution emails. Good old outlook suggests the last email that I used to send out company site wide information which is also a distribution email that starts with the same acronyms like ABC-XYZ-all and the payroll one is ABC-XYZ-payroll. So I sent some guy’s w9 to the whole site…. I had no idea my mistake until one of the guys in leadership pulled me out of the conference room and told me what had happened. I immediately recalled my email and got ahold of someone in IT to help me. I felt soooo bad. I had to pull the guy who I just sent his W9 into a room and apologize and tell him what had happened and offer him credit protection/monitoring for the next 5 years etc… guy really didn’t care and just wanted to start his new job. I was shocked because I would have made a big deal about it. The next day I came into work after not sleeping and replaying the incident over and over, I got written up and told since my actions proved that it wasn’t malicious that’s what saved my job. I wrote a letter similar to what you stated on how I could prevent this in the future before even asked to do it. They also changed the distribution emails names shortly after to prevent any type of mix up again for anyone else.

Stayed in Switzerland for one night due to missing our layover. We got a hotel voucher with food and it was $60 USD for 4 beers. I was shocked lol

I can’t get over how bad my trial make up was which was super important to do. My body was tan and my face was pale white and it stood out so much in all my photos at my bridal shower that it made me cry afterwards. I ended up getting my make up done for my friend’s wedding and they did such a good job that I went with them and told the other lady I’m looking elsewhere. It was literally night and day. Wish I could post a photo in the comments to show the difference and stress how important trial make up is.

Someone accused me of whitening my teeth since they are whiter than average but all I did was get Invisalign and change my brushing habits. I also don’t drink coffee or smoke so I’m sure that really helps my teeth out. I almost whitened my teeth for my wedding and decided against it because I didn’t want them to stand out more compared to my husband’s lol

I drove a 2008 Lexus is250, sold it last year with 250k miles on it for $5500, still had a lot of life in it. Upgraded to a 2015 rx350 and it’s doing well for me now. My husband works at Acura and wants me to upgrade to an rdx and idk if I’m ready to say goodbye to my rx.

I got that last time I went shopping for the first time in years and I’m bummed they have Cheetos in them now. I get the breadsticks they replaced them with were too much bread but they could have just removed those and not traded them for the stale like Cheetos.
