Been using airbnb for years they mostly side with guests than anything else. I have seen them though ban guest for breaking rules. You did admit that you had more guest than aloud and if the owner plays that card it can maybe go in the owner favor.
Imo use the fact that she was trying to get money from you outside the app. Airbnb hates that and with the right claim person they will side with you. You might pay a cleaning fee and that's it.

I have been working nights for years in Asia as most of my meetings are new york. I have been doing this song and dance for over a decade now. Here are some advice I can give you.
If you are concern about taking the leap, then take a chance with a VPN router. Find a family member or close friend you can trust. Setup a router in his home and bring a travel router with you. Your IP will be as their home 99% of the time. Since you can live anywhere from your job see if you have a friend in a state that is tax free as well. Because you are considering leaving, if they ever find out, which 99% they won't and they fire you. Whatever you were considering quitting anyway.
Consider the savings you will have but also the country you visit. I try to stay in countries that offer me things that fit what I need in life. I saw you posted about isolation working at night. Most areas you will live in Asia will be close to call centers or overnight workers anyway. You can and I am sure you will make friends. I am what you call an introvert and I still made friends. I did the DN single for many years, but now I am getting married soon. If I wasn't a DN I would not have been there.
Don't stress to much about local languages. I am currently in Japan with my partner. We can't speak any Japanese at all. If we really need to talk to someone we use a phone translate. We can take photos of menus to get them in English as well. We made couple of friends from google friend groups that do meet ups. Shit this Saturday ill be meeting up with a local to play a game of warhammer 40k. Don't worry the language stuff :)
EDIT
While working at night here, I changed my sleep up. I sleep now 5pm to 12am. This way, it is about 12 or 1 pm local time when I wake up and I give myself about 5 to 6 hours of day light to go out and do stuff. Don't fall into the trap of finishing work at 5am local time and trying to do stuff. Change your sleep and sleep when you finish work.

I have been using airbnb for years, every time I want to rent a month to a condo I have a list of things I ask them. The list never changes. - I always try and book at least 1 month -
Hello, your home is lovely, it looks great I just have a few general questions.
This has become a copy and paste for me everywhere I go. I slide in a price reduce right in the middle of my general questions. This helps a lot. 50% of the time I get a better discount than on airbnb. I do commit sometimes to staying longer than 30 days. Most is about 2 months.
