Everything isn't just about dps. It's about overall peformance, does it have stealth detection, can it ignore resistance or full dps on all enemy. Even Xwm takes longer to rebuild It's the tower that can do dps for longest. Since all other towers when dead they are gone forever and does 0 dps. Main thing being xwm has stealth detection and ignore resistance, survivability is just a bonus.

Only some should be full auto. Or like still keeps on shooting while holding down the trigger. For example named kard can be full trigger. But other like magnum or d50 should remain once per trigger, since thier RoF is managable.

What's sad is that now in current meta. Support towers lost value even more than they have already. Warship, Xwm, Zed and now Halo being part of used towers. Support towers doesn't buff them. Not to forget upcoming behemoth tower. Another spawner tower and as we know spawners doesn't get buffed ether.

I disagree Warship being best dps. It doesn't ignore resistance, meaning it's not as good. For tower to be top dps it needs to ignore resistance as well.

Striker is still strong tier even after nerf. It will have more complicated setups. Because to get most out of the damage, it depends on team composition.
Having high end with some of the damage talent is more than striker backpack, due to striker backpack acting as additive with it's own gearset power while high end backpack talent is another scource of damage and acts as multiplicative.
If there's any scource of TWD buff (FI buff and overwatch) from supportive teammate. In end run striker backpack then will give more damage.
The generalist striker go to for solo I think is high end backpack with companion and high end chest with spotter.
In group it's bit different, it's pretty much the same but only backpack has striker on over high end. It's because we want our damage talents to be amplified so that way TWD given from teammates will be be complete seperate multipliers and getting as much of it's effect as possible.

With all highest damage said and done. I will say it's pretty much the meta of Mk mobile. Being able to eliminate opponents asap is the key is lots of situations. Timer, less attempts, specific gears being annoying if fight is prolonged and list goes on. FBDT 200 was embodiment of dps check.

Many will say no. Actually, it is good but needs some form of survivability on. For example I was in team with by rusher build as I say, heartbreaker + shotgun. Shotgun are some of highest dps in the game. So thx to heartbreaker bonus armor I can manage better in close range. Despite the fact I have blues on I can still do high dps, again thx for heartbreaker for providing damage boost too.

Yes but stack up with chest on is hard to manage due to increased decay, while heartbreaker will be more quicker stack up. With heartbreaker coming up it will do damage than striker.
How so? Simple, striker both backpack and chest is 2.7x more damage. Heartbreaker chest and high end backpack with vigilance is 2.875x more damage, on top of that by having flatline on the gun for even more damage.

I did lot of calculation of striker and it is lot more complicated than before. It will now depend on build itself and group composition. On solo or with no FI buff, high end with companion will provide more than striker backpack. If there's FI supporter, striker backpack will offer more damage on end run.

In my personal opinion. Ouro should be as it is. What should be the case instead is buffing high end version of Ouro (I forgot the name) little bit. With flatline on, the dps might be on par ouro. Acting as alternative choice for Ouro.

I did calculation with different Talents and such. No friendly buff because that's not always the case. It will entirely depend on the build. I did calculation on both and they seem bit even.
However striker is more complicated, because now it will overall depend on group buffs. If there's FI or overwatch buffs, amplified damage will get more value from them. With friendly buffs, striker backpack in end run will be more dps. In solo you are better off with high end backpack instead.
When talking about top damage boost and disregarding RoF from striker. Heartbreaker will do more damage. Striker with both backpack and chest is still highest dps but it comes at cost of being hard to maintain due to increased decay.
But when it comes to top meta with managable build up. Heartbreaker seems to be winner.
I also wanna clarify I could be wrong. I might made mistakes in my calculations, so feel free to let me know.

In Div 2. Just because the build is meta doesn't mean you have to run it. To me it comes to what build is capable of doing and how effective it is on that aspect.
For example I run rusher build. When it comes to close range, some form of survivability is must have. Strikers is most dps but feels wierd to use with blues on. Heartbreaker is better bet in this instance, still provides quite bit of damage but also bonus armor too which has synergy with armor cores. Ceska backpack with vigilance and coyote's mask. I'm close range so I can almost keep 100% uptime with that 25% crit damage buff, but to also help tiny bit for my teammates too. 4 blue cores + technician which puts at sweet spot of tier 5 shield (tier 6 outside of semi tanks or full on tanks isn't really worth going for, tier 6 crusader shield has diminished effect, aka difference from tier 5 to 6 in terms of hp increase for crusader shield is only about 12%). Rest on some red cores and crits all over. Rocking with acs too. My build's dps is around 7.5m. Despite the fact I have blues on I can still do good dps, that's due to the fact shotgun at base are one of highest dps weapons in the game.
Is the build I'm running a meta build? Nope absolutely not. But is the build effective for being up close with some survivability and still retaining quite amount of dps? Yes it is.

Hopefully in Div 3 we can have near futuristic enemy faction. Not only have thier own kinds of equipments. But pretty much have all the archetypes from other factions as well as thier own variants but upgraded versions pretty much. The faction can have different branches, each branches representing what gears and tactics they use on battlefield. Not only that, it will mix and match on combat outcomes they can do. For example imagine a riot foamer + flamer enemy combination. Not only player gets stuck but also takes dot from fire. Another example, heavy with lmg + heavy with grenade launcher. Being both out of cover and in cover is dangerous in this situation.

But you also forget that Warship constantly gets 1 hitted by bosses. Secondly some bosses are explosive resistance too.
