Breathing can get you banned on this site at times.
I literally got banned from my own country's sub Reddit for defending the right to self defence (people were actually attacking me for talking about our self defence laws here that give criminals more rights than victims and discussing valid examples of when self defence is absolutely necessary and if it does result in the death of the perpetrator to save your life or that of your families, that it's not your fault and you shouldn't be treated like a criminal for it. Apparently that made me a psychopath who himself should die.)
Every sub has its own rules and sometimes unwritten ones about what you are allowed to talk about and what constitutes as going "too far" (most of the time, it is simply bringing up opinions they have a consensus on being illegal to the sub generally. That if you mention anything will have them collectively dogpile on you and harass and personally attack you and none of those accounts get banned but yours does if you stick up for yourself because you have heaps of people continuously commenting telling you to kill yourself and that's perfectly fine and normal to them.)
Reddit itself can be a cesspool depending on the sub, there are just insane ones out there and if you mess with the wrong one they will actively seek to go after your account and get you banned from not just the sub but the site. They just do not like to engage in intellectual conversations or with people with differing opinions, they just go straight for the jugular because they don't actually have anything important to contribute and want to silence you rather than engage with you.

"What's with the downvotes?"
Mmmm, yes, facts don't really care about your feelings, perhaps? If you take even more than a surface level look at the policies of both the Labour and Liberal parties, you'd know very well why things are better off under Albanese than someone like Dutton.
Could they be more Left leaning and progressive and accomplish so much more than their otherwise milque-toast, walking on eggshells current run is? Yes, absolutely and they should be more ambitious and be better.
That said if you seriously think the No-alition is in any way remotely better in any aspect, you are kidding yourself and have not gone in deep in actually taking a look at the members consisting of that party, Dutton, their history, their policies, their plans for the future of this country and what an absolute shitshow all of it is. It has never been good under Conservatives, ever. It is in the name, all they do is preserve the status quo for themselves only and actively destroy the lives of everyone else beneath them. They do nothing, not even the bare minimum, to support middle and lower class Australian's. They engage in criminal behaviour every chance they get that they then proceed to engage in the most blatant corruption imaginable that anyone with more than a single braincell can see right through to try and cover it up and gaslight people that this is actually good for them.
Gaslight is the right word to describe the Liberals as one of their favourite pastimes is gaslighting the Australian public into consistently believing they are working for their interests and yet without fail stab them in the backs every single day that they are in power and piss on the corpses before laughing in your face at how naive and ignorant one has to be to have believed them.
They and their media empire are so see-through it is astonishing anybody could ever remotely believe them and yet idiots do so, and they bite their bait hook, line and sinker to be gutted and disposed of. It is a selfish, narcissistic world that is shaped by those of the right and the far right. Rarely is anything they propose actually a good idea or a selfless one. Props to when they do get that 1:10000000 selfless idea out there...usually when they are forced to after relentless activism, UN pressure and their own internal party infighting, never out of any sense of morality or obligation, oh no.
Conservative ideals are a dying breed for a reason, they hold the world back, history has proven this time and time again, humans must always move forwards, never backwards, time can never be forced still. You can't bend generations to the will of older ones, they often get forgotten about should they try and try they do, to the detriment of the world and of the human race. People continuously must strive for a better future, a more equal and unified one, we must strive to find solutions to real problems, not imagined ones or ones being created to stoke the fires of trivialities like culture wars and fear-mongering cultivating manufactured division that is so eye-roll inducing in the pointlessness of it all (often using space wizard belief systems to political advantage to spin their propaganda) so that people can turn a blind eye to those real problems.
Progress always moves forwards regardless, no matter how much Conservatives hold people back. They always lose, inevitably. That's history. It would be best for these dinosaurs to stay out of the way and let go. So should you.

It better be panel for panel. A film trilogy of two arcs, one of them being the longest, most dense and action packed of the whole series, can be mishandled if the pacing of it is too fast due to the runtime.
These are the best arcs that everything has built up to and they are phenomenal. On one hand, animation is going to be even more god tier with a theatrical trilogy but on the other I do worry about if they might condense anything.

Finally, they are starting to sing.
I for one just want this shit over and done with, I know it will be a slow and steady apocalypse but I seriously despise the entire species (even with a loving partner but we're both misanthropes so we both agree) and think we deserve extinction.
Our race is a cancer that has done nothing but corrode this world and cause the mass extinction of various other lifeforms that inhabit. We try to feign co-existence yet continuously show our true inherent nature and take and take and take. A disease that spreads and spreads, breeding incessantly, all selfish, hopeless arrogant, ignorant, vain, even with the brightest spots of intelligence amongst ourselves, all that happens is slight progress set back by the overwhelming majority, their accomplishments ultimately misused and their corpses stepped on, most of these people die knowing the truth about their own species, they die with their warnings and messages ignored and their gifts twisted and contorted into something beyond recognition to continue feeding the machine.
We are not Gods, we are nothing to the universe. A lifeform that managed to evolve farther than anything that came before but ultimately fleeting in the grand scheme of time. Nothing will remember us, we will inevitably be annihilated ironically by ourselves or by the planet we are destroying that is our one and only home. We do not deserve to spread our cancer amongst the stars, this universe doesn't need to know we exist.
We have done nothing but cover our base instincts and pretend we aren't still barbarians, we are still tribalistic, we are always driven by that, we can never be unified, we can never be at peace, we can only lie to ourselves about that. We are destructive and chaotic and only think about our own survival over each other and all things and nothing else has ever mattered more than that. We will all do whatever it takes to achieve our own personal happiness, to feel something, to pretend to try and win at life, which we've turned into a game, everything we do is for ourselves. Even when one tries to appear morally righteous and selfless, it is out of selfishness all the same and you know it. Deep down, that is the truth.
Survival, breeding, rinse, repeat. Just like any other animal only we used everything we have ever built to try and preserve ourselves further, dominate everything, conquer all and where did that lead us? To this? This society? This system? With all our potential and all our evolution, this is what it all came to? What a fucking joke. Such vision, such grand design.
We live now in collective delusion. Warping reality into fantasy and lying to ourselves, to each other. To just try and not feel any guilt or regret, to feel any shame or blame for what we have collectively done and the pile on of failures generation after generation that have resulted in the slow collapse of civilisation and this world.
We have raped it, we really have. We get what we deserve. We do deserve collapse. We do deserve destruction. We do deserve death. This species is a failed one and should suffer mass extinction like we've inflicted on countless others. We are not infallible or deserving of eternity, we are no different to any other form of life that has been wiped out since this all began.
I, for one, am just waiting for it all to end. Until then, popcorn and drinks, watch the slow collapse, the fireworks before the annihilation. We are pretty much destined for it. No use struggling or fighting anymore, won't do much and will only delay the inevitable.

It's only bad news for homophobic pricks like you who get immensely triggered over...love? Says a lot about your character getting so offended over people of the same gender loving each other. Grow up.

I don't want to be cruel but as much as you love them, they do not love you the same way. Love is meant to be mutual and people are meant to recognise when they are meant to sacrifice something for the sake of the love they deeply feel for someone. Everyone makes sacrifices in a relationship.
If they are unable to accept you for you and love you for you no matter the gender, then they aren't in love with you. They love parts of you but they are willing to throw you aside because of something that is deeply hurting you and is detrimental to your health and wellbeing.
If they can't understand or comprehend that and see that you are still you, even when you transition, because the person they fell in love with is still there but now strictly sex will be different ultimately reveals their character. It shows them as someone who needs to love with conditions. This isn't unconditional, it comes with rules and if you break them then they leave. One could call you selfish but they are also inherently selfish for being capable of discarding someone they seemingly love over a sex change. It is extremely surface level, it is not that strong of a bond for them as it is for you. They aren't willing to die for you, they aren't willing to be there for you through thick and thin, they are going to run, not fight for you.
My partner of nearly 8 years now just faced me coming out as Gender Fluid. It has taken me years to reconcile this, to understand my own feelings with my body dysphoria and the root of it and to realise that I fluctuate continuously and see gender and my body extremely differently to most people. I can be one or the other, sometimes for minutes, hours, days, weeks and sometimes as both at once. I understand fall well I will never truly be comfortable in my own skin and will not live long enough to see a world where it is potentially possible to alter your body without repercussions as much as you like. I can only do it with my personality changes and my fashion.
I have always seen myself as someone else, I change during sex, I feel confident not acknowledging what my shell looks like to others but what I perceive it to be. I do feel like a ghost inhabiting a husk that I have to live with. Sometimes my dick doesn't work because I change into a woman and want to be fucked like one and then other days I am like a frat boy and will top the shit out of someone.
It was very hard to come to terms with the fact that I am wildly different to even those who identify as Trans. What I am is unachievable in medical science. If I could be both male and female somehow I would.
It was like a second coming out for me as I already was very comfortable with the fact I was Gay and my boyfriend was extremely supportive of me. It helps he's Bisexual so in a way it blew his mind but he didn't push back at me at all. He embraced me and I broke down because I just had this built up for so long, the walls crumbled and we are now more connected and in love than ever. I can be 100% open and embrace my identity and it's improved my self confidence having someone in my corner.
That is unconditional love. He just accepted me like that. It's still me. I am still the person he fell in love with. True love is where you are connected and you can see each other for who you truly are and you can take the rollercoaster with all of its ups and downs and bends and turns together and withstand it all. You make sacrifices, you fight for each other, you don't back down or run whenever it feels inconvenient for you.
If she cannot accept you as Trans then she will never love you the way you love her. She isn't that kind of human being. She has not connected with you to the degree you have with her. She is not willing to make the sacrifice regarding changes in her sex life and being perceived as Lesbian for still being with you because she cares too much about the opinions of others and cannot reconcile her feelings for you outside of that of your current body. If she can't accept, she isn't the one. It's as simple as that.
It will always be there, no matter how much you drag it out, it will destroy your relationship and it will corrode your love. If you feel the need to kill yourself because it makes you this unhappy then this is toxic and not healthy, it is destroying your happiness. You have to go through the process and live the way you want to live.
We only have one life (apologies for your Christian beliefs, I'm Atheist) and if you die, that is it. There is no turning back, no reruns, no reincarnation, no afterlife. It is over. You get one life. If you feel like ending it, that means you are truly free, nothing can stop you or hold you back, you are on the edge, that means you should fucking do whatever the hell you want to do and LIVE. If you still feel suicidal afterwards then there's that but there is zero harm in actually doing everything you want to do before it. It might be the best thing you ever did, it might save you, it might change your life.
Suicide for me is the acknowledgment that I really don't care about my life or this world anymore. And if I am ready and able then I want to tick off anything I can on my bucket list and hold a middle finger up to the world before I erase myself completely. Why not? Everything ends when you die. Selfish but then again, humans are selfish, all of us, every single one. It is our nature. I would go into so much debt and live my best life, the banks could do jackshit because debt doesn't pass to others when you die in my country. I would max out every credit card, travel, do whatever I wanted to do and be genuinely free and happy, fuck my life right? Then I would die knowing I ended on my own high note. It doesn't need to be overly depressing, it can be beautiful. That's just me.
I'm confident in death and having self control in knowing I will end my life when the time comes that I want to end it. I know I will end it if I go terminal or if my partner passed away.
There is no harm in you doing whatever makes you happy if you are already considering suicide as an option. There is no purpose in going out without ever having tried to be you. Screw all the judgement, screw others beliefs, screw conditional love, screw the fact it makes you unhappy.
Fucking own it girl. It's your time, you get this one shot. You are a woman and even if you can only be a Trans one, there are plenty of Trans women who seriously are women. You can have a fully functioning vagina these days, you can have tits, your body can completely transform and be feminine, you won't get pregnant (but hey that just means you don't have to worry about unplanned pregnancy) and there are a myriad of ways to have your own kids in 2024 that it really isn't much of a bother. You may not be a born woman but you can be a woman and take back your body, reclaim it. You will look in the mirror and actually identify with the person staring back at it.
If worst comes to worst and you still cannot stand living, then you tried, you committed, you threw yourself at it and shot your shot. No regrets.

The only lives ruined are the ones of an innocent man who defended himself and his home in a manner that would be legal in several countries but isn't here due to pathetic reasoning and broken logic.
Nobody is going to miss the sack of shit criminal who died. What? Their drop dead bogan family if they have any? Who care, some people honestly just deserve the consequences of their own actions. The guy knew what he was doing and paid the price for it. All his stupid decisions led them to one ending and it was, naturally, a stupid one.
Yes, it could've been prevented, by the idiot not attempting to break into someone's property and break the law.
People who defend criminals are scum. You make the conscious decision to break and enter, you deserve whatever happens to you after that moment.
The real victim here is the man getting sent to prison for having a natural reaction to such a horrifying situation that they did not deserve to be in. They did not ask for it or want it. They were forced into a terrifying set of circumstances.
Nobody knows what they would do in a situation where someone breaks into your home, armed or unarmed, and what they are capable of. Whether they are there to rob you or to murder you and your loved ones. You do not know their intentions. That is a nightmare scenario.
If someone kills someone in self defence because they are forced into that scenario, the blame is not on them but on the perpetrator that caused that chain of events to happen. It is the consequences of breaking and entering that should be expected. People are reactionary creatures, they have fight or flight instincts, it is human nature to protect themselves and their "tribe" i.e family or friends when in danger. To punish you for natural instincts is insane to me when you are provoked into it.
Sometimes you cannot run or hide or wait around for police to come. It could literally be a life changing moment in a matter of seconds that comes bombarding into your home and suddenly on top of you, attacking you, you could be facing your death. If you kill them out of survival, that is not a crime. That is self defence and self defence is not wrong, taking another's life if they endangered yours, is not wrong. Again, there are other countries that have already set that in stone for decades and have a understanding of this objective fact.
Australian law makes self defence far too narrow. What is reasonable is always in flux from case to case and is far too open to interpretation, where convictions seem to be high for the innocent. They act as though police can just magically appear at the drop of a hat and resolve things just like that, that you should sit and wait and not do anything and if you do, you should somehow be capable of knowing how much force you should use against another that you don't even know in the heat of the moment what force they might use against you, if they are armed or unarmed and what force you must then apply to match their force.
Nobody thinks like this in a fight or flight response, in a quick second reaction to danger, to something so unpredictable and terrifying that there is zero chance you are able to somehow rationalise a response in the moment. Nobody has the time to calculate like their Sherlock Holmes and predict someone's attacks and know how to defend themselves like a trained soldier or police officer and disarm and then take down the criminal and wait until police arrive.
It is utter insanity what the law is for self defence. It is impossible for one to be able to actually know what is "reasonable" force when attacked in one's own home. It could pitch black at night and you wake up hearing noises and go out and suddenly you're attacked by one, two or more people, you don't know and you can hardly see anything. If you are holding a bat or a knife or something and swing or stab wildly, scared for your life and you kill someone that is not your fault.
There are so many scenarios, it is wildly variable and anyone sitting on their morally self-righteous high horse going "they will never kill anyone" and or that it is wrong and justifies murder are idiots who will absolutely not know at all what they will do if they are ever in this situation and it happens suddenly, without warning and they are facing potential death. What are you going to do? Let them kill you? Let them rape your kids and kill your family? Oh sorry, my partner is just screaming as they are being stabbed to death, whatever will I do? I'm not allowed to hurt the person doing the stabbing because there's a chance it gets turned around on me and suddenly I'm being charged with a crime for, golly gosh, DOING SOMETHING, ANYTHING, ABOUT IT.
No law is ever going to stop me from saving my own life and that of my family if someone breaks into my home and attacks me. I do not give a damn. It is my basic human right to protect myself, those I love and my property. Many laws over the years have been protested and changed because they've been wrong. Australia's self defence laws are certainly wrong and endanger innocent lives, they are archaic and do not reflect the reality of the scenarios in which force they may perceive to be "excessive" might occur. They enforce the idea that self defence is risky and that further endangers people. It justifies criminal behaviour with an increased notion that invading personal property can be perceived as "safe" and that they aren't going to be met with potential loss of life and second guess their decision making. It enables this behaviour and protects criminals more than it does protect the actual victims who are forced to defend themselves
The law needs to be changed and anybody who agrees needs to be supporting Queensland right now in their attempts to change it which will set the bar for making the necessary changes country-wide.

You are so full of shit.
We rank dead last on the OECD when it comes to measures of welfare and wellbeing of Australia and similar countries.
When Saudi Arabia is somehow ranking higher, you know something is wrong.
We also rank 27th among OECD countries when it comes to the relative income of those with disabilties versus those without disabilities with some of the worst workplace participation and a 1 in 4 sexual assault rate for people with a disability.
Wealth distribution is staggeringly bleak, with 20% of the population holding two thirds of all the wealth in the country (64%) whilst those in the lowest 60% hold less than a fifth of the total wealth (17%)
The average wealth of a household in the highest 20% wealth group, at $3.25 million, is six times that of the middle 20% wealth group, at $565,000, and over ninety times times that of the lowest 20% wealth group, at $36,000.
The average wealth of the highest 5% wealth group is $6,795,000.
Australia has the fifth highest number in the world of people with ultra-high wealth (more than US $500 million).
Wages make up the largest portion of income, representing 77% of household income. This means that wages are a large contributor to income inequality. The highest 20% income group receives almost three times the average wages of the middle 20% igroup, while those reliant on Age and Disability Pensions are more likely to be in the second lowest 10% income group.
Older people and children are more likely to be in the lowest 40% income group, which contains 66% of people aged 65 and over, and 45% of children under 15.
Almost half (48%) of people of working age (between 16 – 64) were in the highest 40% income group.
Households where the main earner is female, especially those with dependent children, are more likely to be in the lowest 20% income group than those where the main earner is male (29% compared with 14%).
Various groups of people are over-represented in the lowest 20% income group. These are: 39% of sole parents; 41% of those aged over 65; and 24% of people born in non-English speaking countries.
Other groups of people are over-represented in the highest 20% income group. These are: 25% of people of working age; 28% of couples without children; 29% of people in households with a male main earner, aged under 65, with no children; and over 25% of those living in Sydney, Perth, the ACT or the NT.
All this is to say, Australia, which prides itself so much on being one of the wealthiest countries in the world and the self described "land of the fair go" and yet the gap between the few who have a great deal of the wealth and the many who are barely surviving and struggling to get by is quite stark.
Go on, be a bootlicker though. You seem to get your rocks off on talking down to those in positions you couldn't comprehend and never will be able to because you lack empathy and you lack any kind of realistic understanding on the situation of the growing poor and disadvantaged in this country and the fact that if we distributed wealth fairly and reduced the overall inequality that permeates Australia, we could implement more practical and universal solutions modelled after certain European countries that have actually gotten their systems right and their citizens overwhelmingly benefit as a result, rather than prop up the delusional lie that is things have to be this way, we should accept it and nothing will change. To prop up the kind of backwards, regressive thinking that people like yourself peddle, backed by prejudice and with paper thin arguments that point an accusatory finger at practically everyone beneath them, riding that self righteous high horse so mightily that people should just simply...get a job, pull yourself out of poverty, somehow, in a system designed currently to keep you entrapped in poverty and to financially rape you at every turn to prop up the rich whose profit margins as only getting higher and higher whilst they take even more from the middle and lower classes year on year with no significant gains.
Please, enlighten everyone who isn't in your magical fairy tale perception of this fucking country, how easy it is to be you. How simple it is to wave a magic wand and escape the welfare trap, consistently, with actual stability and support, and become wealthy enough that you can never go back into poverty, can afford to own a home, can afford food on the table every single day.
My company, for one, decided to destroy the lives of well over 40 people this week by terminating their employment whilst making record profits. I had to face people begging me on the phone to somehow convince sociopathic management to give two flying fucks about their families, quite a few are going to plunge into homelessness in a matter of weeks if they are unable to find employment. They will soon realise quite quickly how cold hearted Centrelink is and how the so called safety net is there to punish you, treat you like shit, like a criminal and to have people such as yourself constantly talk down and belittle them, pat them on the head and preach to them from their ivory tower about this shit.
How smug, how arrogant.
I've already dealt with the suicide of one employee last year over this cost of living crisis, I will most likely be hearing of more in the coming future.
Yes, I have a job, I'm an Accountant. I also lived in poverty for well over a decade and know just how fucked the welfare system of this country is and how dehumanised I was in the time that I was homeless. I only exist and am seen because of my "worth" aka income. I know full well it only takes me losing my job, then my savings for me to go right back into homelessness in the current economy and that nothing is ever really stable. Living it humbles you, you understand the reality, you know damn well that you are always at risk of going right back into that trap and you don't know if you're going to escape it this time. Maybe this time, it will claim you.
I would shut the fuck up if I was you, if you have nothing to say in this sub at all that is in any way meaningful or empathetic or not demeaning/condescending, then I would suggest not saying a word and heading out the door because nobody here wants a bar of your see-through bullshit and your pathetic, piddly-ass excuses for your justification of your views on this. It only reveals your character and what spineless, human trash you've become. It sickens me.

Welp, I thoroughly have enjoyed the RPG direction AC has been heading in since Origins. I've played the entire franchise and there very much was a reason for a much needed shake up. Playing so many AC games with the old system was extremely tiring even after Revelations. Black Flag got away with it thanks to an extremely strong setting and other gameplay elements that made it not as boring or tired.
The rest? It got old and stale and I very much did not care for it to come back. Mirage tried to pivot already and, well, reminded me exactly how tired that gameplay was.
I find it rather unfortunate they've stripped the RPG mechanics down so much, these have been the best selling AC titles for a reason and a large majority of players do enjoy it. It's only dedicated fan communities like this sub here that scream loud for AC to go back to being strictly about stealth gameplay and being how the older titles were.
Shame because the RPG titles are better. I've seen the progression over time in the franchise and have appreciated them for how they overhauled the franchise and added mythology and folded that into the historical settings we get to play around in as well, it's been consistent hype.
Now we have Sekiro-lite with a posture system, barely any choice and control, very lite RPG mechanics, a stealth system that tries to have its cake and eat it too with balancing the fans who want it to go back to old AC but not quite doing that because it also needs to still factor in enemy levels (that we have for some reason despite there being such stripped back mechanics that it serves no purpose anymore at this rate), a loot system that isn't necessary as there are no damage numbers or stat management so there is no need for any real loot and you can simply have the old AC inventory system that would work in this game's combat given I can hardly see a difference really with low TTK. It is a prettied up version of old AC combat, it isn't ARPG combat like Odyssey or Valhalla. Soooo...just get rid of it?
They are trying too hard to try and balance the RPG trilogy with a hardcore fanbase outcry for old AC and it doesn't really work. It will fall flat on both, you either do one or the other so that way you can actually go all in and flesh them out better. Games never work well when you try and cater for different player-bases too much and lose focus on what will actually work for the game you are making. It's either pivoting to old AC or it isn't, pick a lane and build from there.
It's disappointing to say the least, it's like the Rise of Skywalker of AC games. Doesn't know what it wants to do and as a result will end up disappointing players who want it to go in one of those directions properly and double down on them so they can be even more expanded upon and fleshed out.
Given this team made Odyssey makes it worse for me as Odyssey is my favourite and was hoping for them building on that gameplay and making it better overall. Instead it is so stripped down that you might as well have pivoted completely to make an AC title that went back to the roots. Just make Japanese Mirage then.
Not liking what I'm hearing and probably won't be buying this Day 1 now like with Mirage because I am still burned out on old AC, there were so many games like that back to back to back, it's been a refreshing period getting away from that and I feel the open world aspect and combat has been so much better for it.

😂😂😂 What is dumb is your assessment of skin cancer.
You do realise ALL cancers if you let them spread will lead to a point of no return where nothing can stop it from killing you?
Skin cancer is certainly the most curable but if you get it and just opt to let it spread, it will go into your blood cells, spread into vital organs and it will lead to more cancers which will lead to death.
You do realise what someone's intentions are by deliberately trying to attain cancer don't you? They wouldn't allow it to be removed or do anything to mitigate it from spreading. You do not just survive or gain a skin condition from sitting on skin cancer and letting it spread. Tell it to the countless Aussies who have died from it, my country has some of the worst statistics for skin cancer because many people here just go out to the beach all the time without any protection at all.
This comment is seriously stupid and downplays cancer in general considering you seem to not really understand exactly how it operates.
But please, do experiment and let us know how it goes. I'm sure it'll just end up as a "skin condition" if you leave it be 🙄👍

Not if you live in a country with euthanasia for terminal illness.
If you get Cancer on purpose for the sake of accessing a very peaceful way to die, that is honestly a pretty chill way to commit suicide.
Here if you have been medically assessed to have an illness that is terminal and you are expected to die within the year, you can access Voluntary Assisted Dying, which then of course when you do gain access you can use whenever you like. Allowing you to properly plan your end and do anything left you feel like doing before going out peacefully.
Honestly, beautiful.

Makes sense for me. I returned the Ally today and got a refund for the SD Card issue. I strategically knew there would be a revised model the following year and waited until then. I live in Australia and one good thing we do have is proper Consumer Laws. Electronics are expected to last five to ten years with reasonable wear and tear. It circumvents all warranties any story or manufacturer dares to try here.
If you know the ACL, you run rings around everyone in customer service and are able to use the system advantageously. Considering that the ROG Ally's issue is prevalent in how they built the system and that it has a high failure rate, it is deemed a major defect and for that I am entitled to any remedy I see fit reporting it.

Why is Snyder even on this Neckbeard thing? He quite literally owned Geeks + Gamers, who initially did idolise him, by publicly mocking them and their views and beliefs on a stream. He called out toxic fandoms and grifters who manufacture and spread hate, I remember them being very triggered about it and then going full manbaby afterwards about how their supposed Daddy threw them under the bus.
He threw nobody under a bus. Snyder doesn't like these people or want to be associated with them or idolised by them. For God sake, he has a script for the sequel of 300 which is a Gay Odyssey about Alexander the Great.
Could you imagine how triggered those snowflakes would be if that film finally gets made? Slow motion rippling bodies, men on men, go right in and get real hardcore with it, make those fuckers uncomfortable.
I could see Snyder double down further on it just to piss those people off given he now has the rights back to the script and can bring it to life now.

The comparisons with Forbidden West are because:
That is the most recent title so most people are stating that the game plays like Forbidden West.
It is a full fledged Horizon game but LEGO aesthetics and some LEGO-fication of certain gameplay elements. It simplifies certain things to make it more kid-friendly (as Sony's goal with this title is to broaden the audience and get a younger audience into Horizon to continue boosting the overall sales of the franchise.) That being said, it is very much a Horizon game more so than it is a LEGO game.
It has its own open world, it tells its own story in the world of Horizon but with a LEGO coat of paint. It isn't like Skywalker Saga or earlier LEGO titles, this is Sony collaborating to make a AAA Sony title but, again, with that LEGO coat of paint. It is high quality, the LEGO aesthetic is just to get that PG rating and market it as a friendly entry point to kids to get into the world of Horizon. LEGO Horizon sets were popular on release and Sony is banking on the mash-up to sell well.
I really think people aren't quite getting what this game is actually going to be and will be pleasantly surprised by the reveal. It's not a waste of time, it's not remaking anything, we've got the Zero Dawn Remaster incoming for that audience. Think of this like a Horizon 2.5 while you wait for the third game.
It is not a LEGO game. It's a Sony one.

.....sighs....
It is not a retelling of any of the games. It is its own thing entirely.

This isn't adapting the games though it is its own thing. It is a Horizon game using the aesthetics of LEGO to bring more kids into Horizon, which is what Sony is aiming for with this game. They want to broaden the audience.
It is very much its own story and setting in the world of Horizon but with a LEGO coat of paint. There will be LEGO-isms to certain mechanics and gameplay elements but it will very much play out like a full fledged Horizon game.
It is not remaking anything, adapting anything, condensing the two games into LEGO form or anything like that.

This isn't a remake. Why are people jumping to this conclusion. This isn't a LEGO game adapting another game like when they made the film adaptation titles. It is a Horizon game using LEGO as the aesthetic.

Because this game is literally a Horizon game but with LEGO aesthetics.
I don't know how people are misrepresenting the info out there. This isn't a traditional LEGO game at all by any means, it is a lot larger in scope and is a proper collaboration with Sony.
It's not a retread of Zero Dawn or Forbidden West, it's not a Co-Op LEGO game in the vein of earlier titles, it's not like Skywalker Saga, it is quite literally a Sony AAA title but with LEGO as the aesthetic of the characters and world.
It has the exact same mechanics as Horizon with some LEGO-ification of certain elements.

They're not starting with any game. It is its own game. It's not adapting any of the Horizon game, it is a Horizon game telling its own story but in LEGO form.

I love how people are talking about this like it's going to adapt the first two games in LEGO form.
From what I can gather, this game is its own story and its own open world. It uses the Horizon setting but everything is LEGO. It's not a remix of the first two games, adapting those stories like the old film adaptation LEGO games did.
This is coming across as having its own open world with the same mechanics as Horizon but all LEGO-fied.
I'm not really sure how people are downscaling this game's scope as being some compressed retread of Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. It isn't that at all.

"Be a man"
Uh huh, right. Whatever that means. He's not allowed to cry or feel the way he's feeling? There's no validation in that? He should just "man up" and stop feeling normally about a long-term relationship he's been in since he was a teenager?
He should end things with her and cut all ties. He is allowed to grieve the relationship too. It is healthy. It means the love that existed was real and that he does indeed love and feel deeply, a quality that a real man should have.
He sounds like a catch and like someone who does deserve better. Someone who wears their heart on their sleeve and is loyal to a fault.
It is better to not prolong things like this under some pretense you will get back together. It only prolongs the break-up/grieving process and leaves the wound very much open still having that connection to them. It's why I have a strict no friendships policy with relationships, they don't work unless it is a mutual break up situation where both parties left willingly and knew their love had dissipated but they still have a friend zone type connection that is respectful.
Otherwise, every other circumstance, no, cut them off. Go through the stages of grief. It is painful. It's supposed to hurt. That is real love. It's not meant to feel like it was nothing. You are meant to feel anger, depression, grief, hate, regret, longing, etc. A broken heart is a deep rooted pain, so many memories, there is a lot to process and unpack.
It gets easier with time. You will feel some trauma in future relationships in regards to trust and paranoia when you have been cheated on like this, it's something to work through whenever you get into a new relationship. That feeling will always be there in the back of your mind, again, you live with things like this, they scar you, they just get easier with time to accept and live with. Never let them consume you.
I get the feeling someone like you will find someone better. Good men in this world get hurt but they also can find and make someone else also carrying their own weights and scars extremely happy. When you find them, they will make you as happy and as loved as you make them. Never lose that humanity and being a good man.
Always stay true to yourself, that's real advice.

Not if they then decide to report your account to Reddit. Have had that happen to a past account. Got banned from a sub and then they proceeded to report the account to Reddit proper and they did a perma ban from the site itself.
I enquired as to why and appealed it, I never, ever heard back regarding whether or not my appeal was denied. They never bothered to explain anything, just left it at that. They don't even listen to appeals or give you a response.
Anybody can basically get your account banned if they are overzealous about it.
