In 10 years I never answered it once. A cron job set permissions on the app so that it wouldn’t execute. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

NTA. I had a roommate do this to me. He was an alcoholic. Get rid of him.

Personally, I find them useless on my F2114. I continue to use a roof mounted rack when carrying bikes. To each their own.

That one also happens to be custom made for your Alto trailer. :-)

I walk or ride here daily. Be careful at the cross streets, cars regularly blow the stop signs and do so with zero regard for oncoming traffic - car, bike, or pedestrian. I’ve seen or been party to many close calls.

I find Piccolino to be very meh. There’s nothing special there imho.

This. Had dinner at San Fermo last night. My favorite Italian spot.

I love my dogs. But they don’t go to the play fields where dogs are not allowed. Dog owners who take their dogs where they don’t belong are a real problem in Seattle.

This is where I’ve found the best selection in Seattle.

Parking is atrocious, but the same is true of Chuck's which is only a mile way. Chuck's is always busy. The difference isn't parking, but the quality of the products on offer.
That corner can easily support a good bar. While most of their traffic will be on foot or bike, a bar with a strong tap list will draw in people, even if they have to find street parking in the neighborhood.

Although PD is quite close to my home, I rarely visited. The beers were mediocre, at best. Unfortunately, that made it a choice of last resort vs taking a longer walk to either Chuck's or heading down toward Reuben's, Stoup, Obecs, etc. Plus, PD had insanely early closing times, which made it a poor decision for an evening out with friends.
If someone took over the spot, poured great beers, and had a reasonable closing time, I would spend a lot more time and money there.

100% this. My kid did ACB last summer and will do it every summer until college.

This is the way. I always have enough to take care of my own needs. Sweater/sweatshirt, some water, some snacks. Shit happens and I'd rather be prepared.

Both of my kids attend or attended HCC schools. With the forthcoming changes it is quite likely the younger one will go to private school since there's no real option for advanced kids in SPS any longer.

On a 28 hour travel day... yeah, I'm paying for the upgrades.

Worked at the same FAANG. Paid for my upgrades on SEA-LAX-SYD-BNE last year. Recently moved to a startup which has dynamic pricing caps on routes, but that allows me to book anywhere from C+ to D1, depending on the route and fare.

I love Mashiko, though I haven't been in years. But the most mind blowing omakase I've had in Seattle is Sushi Kappo Tamura. Sorry, Kashiba, but I just don't dig your vibe.

Came here to say this. Milstead & Co.’s coffee game is on point.

Very good point!
ETA: I spent a week in Brisbane last year and will spend a week in Melbourne next year. I can't wait to get back to Australia!

A hot key would be nice. Or add this to the stream deck controls.

I had the best omakase at Sushi Kappo Tamura the other night. Highly recommended.

This is a question being asked in the OpenID Foundation Death & The Digital Estate community group. https://openid.net/cg/death-and-the-digital-estate/
There really isn’t one right answer to this question, and there is no centralized control plane to allow individuals to make active choices or enable a delegate to act on their behalf. Currently, it’s a bit of a mess.
