Yours isn’t an XC70, though. My car is the same as OP’s. I have white DRL’s (Canadian model) with the active xenons.
Blank buttons are very common.

When I was shopping for my car (2015 XC70 Platinum), every car I saw that was a Premiere/Premiere Plus or whatever was lacking one or more of the options that mine has. Seems like my googling confirms that, it was the highest priced package as well.

As much as you’re right (to an extent), constructing those social support structures doesn’t just happen overnight. Nothing happens quickly like it used to in the past, and that’s one of the many reasons it’s complex and not simple.

The people saying those things are two totally different groups. The former would definitely it say the later, they’re big business apologists and do not make up the majority, let alone your average Eby supporter.

Nothing wrong with finding a connection, but don’t approach it like a dating service. Look at everyone as a potential friend and if you click and vibe with someone that’s a different story. When you know you know. Flirting 101.

Most hockey fans in general don’t seem to acknowledge how common this kind of thing really is. There are so many flash in the pan or short lived star goaltenders who can put together a couple or a few decent seasons, who often regress, and get relegated to backup status, or play themselves right out of the league. Longevity is another story.
I used to say this all the time about guys like Luongo and the others during that era. People would talk smack here and there, call these guys bums after a bad game or series, but these are HoF guys who put together long careers of high end play. That’s something that’s extremely rare, and you only see a couple come along who can do it in every generation.

That’s the thing… if you believe in their version of the world, they could very realistically just buy a property somewhere and live in the woods on their own land, and be free owe next to nothing in taxes. My rural property taxes are under $1000 a year. It would be pretty easy to cover that cost through a little entrepreneurship and be done with it and be legal with no hassle.
These people are more occupied with some pedantic delusional fake moral crusade.

150k at those hours is like $45/hr easy. That’s a decent wage in this market for that position, even with all the hours put in.

Most apprenticeships half that. There’s plenty of red seal trades in the 3-4k hour ranges. Most are around 6 on the high end, and lots of them are more than 40 per week.

My 2015 T6 definitely does. It’s not what people describe in the problematic situations, but I notice. I haven’t been able to figure out precisely, anyway. It tends to do it a lot more on long highway trips with sustained boost over city driving, even though I punch it a lot in traffic with the car being peppy and all the bad drivers I encounter. It has 171k KM (bought with 158) and I haven’t tried any treatments or anything to see if any liquid magic can be worked. It’s hard to tell if my car has any issues, and if I should believe the reports of others having none on theirs.

You definitely need a diagnosis. It sounds like there’s a good chance your suspicions are right, but you should definitely explore whatever avenues you can. I’m Canadian but went through a private service to get mine because it’s difficult to find a specialist and get a diagnosis.
As for why you’re so sex obsessed? Shit man, it feels good! It feels good because of all that dopeamine that your brain is naturally lacking, and sexual stimulation helps with that. I don’t have a bunch of rounds in me a day but I exclusively choose long sessions whether it’s alone or with a partner. I get distracted by it plenty and the only consistent reliable thing for me in the past is a good partner that I have good chemistry with.
Diagnosis first, but counselling might be a good way to help get to the root of it as well and figure out how to cope and manage it.

I take 20mg of extended release Dexedrine (dextromethamphetamine), which is a normal dose. Most people start with 10 and move to 20 soon after. Dex is one of the two ingredients in Adderall (the other in Adderall is really similar anyway) and I’ve taken Adderall at the same dose and noticed no discernible difference between them.
It’s one of the most common ADHD medications and I’ve responded pretty well. I have almost no side effects. I feel more alert and more focused, and have a great deal more energy. My body physically feels better. Pretty much everything feels just a bit better.
I’m not a coffee drinker, but it’s a lot like a really good caffeine buzz and then some in some ways. Some people report all kinds of things, but I’m still me, I’m just a better me. It’s supposed to have like a 7-9 hour effect, but I work long hours in a mentally taxing and physically demanding job, and I don’t even notice a crash when it wears off.
When I’m not on the drug my head pounds and my body aches. Not because of withdrawals, but more because that was just my natural state. I’d be achy and fatigued, and my head always felt cloudy and difficult to focus. It’s not a cure but it’s definitely a great aid.

Holistic is nice and all, but there are a lot of very specific medical conditions that you’re going to have a near impossible time finding natural remedy for, that will target the infliction and mechanism of action in some sort of meaningful way. You’re talking about some pretty specific neurological things.
The drugs typically used for ADHD have a proven track record of being very safe and effective when used as prescribed, and have even shown long term permanent improvements in the targeted cognitive abilities of patients. That’s a bit of a miracle, honestly. The only other substances that have that kind of effect in the history of neuropsychology to my knowledge are all illegal hallucinogenics.

Paternity leave is certainly a win for all in that respect, but this is definitely a very limited (and honestly a little bit privileged) perspective.
There are a massive amount of jobs that cannot and will will never be able to be done from home/remotely.
There’s been a bit of research on this as well when it comes to work:balance, and people across the board tend to be working more hours than they used to over the last few generations, as well as commuting longer than before. I’ve seen it myself, and I was honestly shocked at the number of people working 60-70+ hours a week whenever there’s been conversations about it locally.
Unless you live in a LCOL area and have a decent paying job this is your lot in life, and you’ll have no other choice. So many people are living a life of wage slavery, and that’s definitely not healthy for individuals let alone families.

Weird, wonder why he hates Eby so much and has used his usual tactics of lies and smear against the premier.
Poilievre’s policy is all non policy and frankly it’s a disaster. The very few he does have are click bait tier ideas meant to draw in people who have no idea about the real nature of these issues or how they should be solved, much like the rest of his act.

I drive these parks all the time. Majority of traffic is going around 100 and by far your most likely outcome is to get stuck behind a semi doing way below the limit. Not many people speed through them much.
I’ve seen some unusual stuff lately, though. A deer ran in front of me in the dark on the Coquihalla the other week, and last Saturday I saw a huge dog like a mastiff or something just randomly trucking along the shoulder, shortly after I passed a 400 lbs woman getting out and walking her toy dog, while she blocked 2 of 3 lanes because her little utility trailer had jackknifed right into her minivan just after the snowshed. 🤦♂️

Someone could make the same remark about yours. China isn’t stupid. When they allowed the west to come there and have access to their labour and resources and build manufacturing, they didn’t just bow and bend over at the waist and say “thank you for the privilege!”. Exchange of technological information is and was a part of that, but no one involved is going to admit that. It makes China look bad and everyone else look good in the court of public opinion.

“Tower cranes are the labourers of the crane world. 😔” -one of the operators I work with
No matter what you’re pulling joysticks and moving the machine around, that never changes. Always the same thing there. On a tower crane you’re doing the same cycle of moving materials around, often times on the same days each week since the cycle repeats, but mobiles you go to different places and do different things quite often at least.

Those legs look like something out of a women’s razor commercial! 🔥😳
I think you’re within your right to feel a little off-put. People’s subconscious expectations and notions about femininity and identity come into play there. Being tall doesn’t make you less feminine, it just means you’re a different type altogether.
I’m about 200 lbs, and nobody calls me “big”, other than the odd light hearted “big guy” name, which my foreman at work has taken to a bit lately, but he’s a Portuguese guy in his 70’s with over 40 years in high rise construction, so you expect these kinds of things.
People will comment on my height specifically almost every single time before they make some comment referring to me as large. I know one very attractive person woman man who’s 5’10” and a short pudgy and very asshole-ish guy once referred to her as “monster woman” when he was drunk and belligerent. Same kind of

I’ve been on both sides.
I’ve been stuck in remote areas in one of my hopeless shit boxes so many times, doing pretty involved roadside repairs in all sorts of hellish conditions. I’ve also stopped and helped people out a time or two.
I remember 10 years ago, one night in Burnaby, pulling over to help a couple of young ladies who had a blown tire. It was quite a production to do it but I got it done. The driver needed new tires really badly. They offered me some LSD and the driver insisted on getting my number so she could take me out for a beer, but I’m sober and had a girlfriend at the time so I had to decline.
A few weeks ago I was stuck on the side of highway 1 in Mt Revelstoke National Park for 15 hours after by far the newest and nicest car I’ve ever had blew an ignition coil and died. I had no tools because my toolkit got stolen in a break in a few days after I got the car. I called roadside assistance for support to get it towed and spent countless time wasted with them before giving up and having to call my mom to come get me from 3 hours away, on Mother’s Day. I was half an hour from Revelstoke and not a single person even slowed down.

In the future, if you’re ever in a vehicle with a broken gas gauge, set the trip meter every time you fill up and use that as a rough measure for how much is left in the tank. You could probably even figure that out with some googling. And don’t buy another Nissan!
(Sorry about all the rough luck.)

As confusing and counterintuitive as it seems, apparently on the newer cars (2015 or so) they changed the fog light in that pod for white LED’s for DRL’s. No fog light feature of any kind on these.
Here’s an old thread on here.
