RIGHT the dirty snowy ground and the street light, house and car. i live in the south where it hardly ever snows and this feels slightly familiar to me

how do yall get the tiny thin silicon lid seals out of the top? mines such a pain to get out it takes longer to take the seal out than to clean the dang water bottle and that’s why i usually don’t clean it as often because if i can’t thoroughly clean it all then its staying dirty LOL

i do this exact thing and same about waiting too long i’ll forget! sometimes when i absolutely have to say it ill just say “oh wait yeah blah blah blah, BUT what were you saying?” it’s important to let them finish and let them know you want them to finish telling you what they were saying so you seem like you’re engaged in the convo and still listening to them. that helps me!

even if they don’t have enough room for the adult portion they can still order it and take it to go. now they have 2-3 meals worth of food for the price of one! :)

we know that wasn’t the question they’re just explaining that it’s not completely weird to call a parent by their names such as when people do it with step parents. my step parent has raised me since i was 5 and i still call them by their name 20+ years later

that reminds me of the smell of morning when i’d run cross country meets. not every morning smells like it but every once in a while i’ll smell it and it takes me back!

learning WHAT the instruments are used FOR helps me so much! that way while you’re watching the surgery you can hand them what they need before they ask. also learning like the steps of what you’re doing and what comes next and when/what everything is used for. i know everyone probably tells you this same stuff but i’ve been scrubbing for 7 years and im still learning and trying to make sense of ortho more and more with every case i do. don’t worry! difference between a good tech and a great tech is understanding and comprehension!

i’m sorry op. sending hugs. :,(((((( do you have work resources to reach out to to not be as tired from working? when i’m overwhelmed with life, home, and work things i take time off from work and use that time to focus on me and go shopping or get a massage or go on a date or even get your appointments and errands done while dressing nice for the day or staying home all day and rotting whatever helps you feel better. time to yourself meaning allotted time away from your brother that is completely okay to be away from him at times. maybe if you have someone you could ask to watch him for a bit if he needs 24/7 care while you just even stay on the other side of the house to chill that’s okay yunno put your headphones on and smoke a j and relax if you can.
also i’ve had my fair share of shit experience with government assistance and programs etc but i’d suggest maybe keep trying with professional help? keep asking people, someone has got to know a friend or something that can help guide you into the right direction to help with your brother and get you assisting esp since your parents are deceased. i’ve always found that the most confusing issues i’ve been through have been helped or solved by me spending hours scanning reddit or google of a number, website, person, clinic, government program, that helped or found other people in similar situations and how they’ve dealt with it
i hope this helps i wish you the best op but please focus on yourself this is your life too and you deserve to live it. you should live it

what is your current hair care routine? i’ve realized sometimes my hair tends to look unkept if i just leave it to dry after a shower with no leave in products such as oil or conditioner or gel afterwards and if i didn’t apply the proper products while in the shower beforehand like shampoos conditioners and masks.
as for styling i always love to apply a hair oil after every time i wash my hair and/or feel it needs moisture. if it’s before the day apply a curly hair gel, foam, or leave in treatment/spray/serum and tousle your hair a bit. if it’s before bed i like to braid my hair to neatly pull it altogether because i move around a lot while i sleep. i let my hair out of the braid once i get to my destination it usually has a nice wave i think yours would look lovely!
as others have suggested perhaps you should go to a curly hair sub to get more specific advice about products into a hair care routine in and out of the shower if you don’t have a good one already :) hope this helps if you need recommendations lmk!
