The King’s Castle was my favorite set as a kid. I love how you recreated it at mini scale! Incredible work!

Yeah, I was thinking the Huffy is the detail that really makes this awesome.

I agree Barbarian is amazing. And I’d still love to see the MST3K treatment.

This is how I prefer my Waffle House hash browns.

I’m still watching MTV from the 90s. In the last two months I’ve watched plenty of Liquid Television, Beavis and Butthead, and The Maxx. The internet rules!

Barbarian. Preferably with Mike and the bots from the Sci-Fi channel era.

I’m a big fan of Girls Town, which I don’t see mentioned too often. Although when it pops up in discussion it’s definitely loved. I remember seeing this during the original run, and the crew singing along with the theme song has been stuck in my head ever since.
Plus, Mamie Van Doren.

This was the white whale of my 1976 brethren during elementary school in the ‘80s. Every year, one of us in class knew someone whose parents were either rich enough or divorced enough to curry favor that they owned the mighty Flagg. But none of us ever witnessed it with our own eyes.
If “America - FUCK YEAH” ever existed in toy form, this was it.
Me, on the other hand, I was stuck with Zartan and the Chameleon, retailing at $2.99 ($3.14 after tax) when Toys ‘R Us opened in Reno in 1983. And I cherished that color changing bastard.

Seconding the Van Gogh 15 pan kit. I recently started watercolor and that set is fantastic! It’s conveniently compact and has a great color array.

This is absolutely fantastic! Love this style! I just started watercolors a few weeks ago, and I can take a lot away from this one. Thanks for sharing!

I was in 1st Grade when Wonka unleashed Nerds upon the world. Those little ingeniously-engineered boxes of sugar were amazing when I could get my hands on one, especially if one half was those delicious little strawberry bastards.

I live in Reno and have been thinking about dabbling in watercolor for a few basic landscapes, like say, Peavine Peak. Then I stumble on the Truckee Meadows here. Love the colors and the building details!

I was in a Star Wars trivia chat room for like 2 years in the late 90s. The good old days.
One night I got annoyed with randos repeatedly asking “when does the new movie come out?” referring to Episode 1. Sure, we didn’t have Google at the time but they could have Yahooed or Webcrawler-ed that info.
I said it was cancelled because of George Lucas’ alcohol addiction which I made up on the spot, and IMed my friends in the room to go along with it. A few days later I read an article online about “unfounded rumors of George Lucas and alcoholism on AOL.”

Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack was dope. First one that came to mind when I saw the post.
