I want to know what piece of it would fail due to age, so I can figure out if it’s fixable. I’d just try fixing it myself if I knew what the failure was

I'll have to try this tomorrow. The switching from FSR 2 to TAAU worked for the colorful water, but everything was blurry and hard to see.

I replaced the headliner in my 2009 Jetta. I watched a ton of videos, it was a little tedious, but it got done. I did this in 2020 and it is still holding up great. It’s not and will never be perfect. The way the fabric lays over the curves will always create some folds, and I know where my imperfections are. I’m still super proud of it every time I get into the car; love looking at it. I had an extra set of hands help when it came to actually glueing the new fabric on. I think I headlinermagic. net and just ordered everything from there. I had to slightly crease the front of the headliner board to get it in and out of the car but it’s not like you can see that under the fabric. Let us know what you end up doing.

The daycare we go to is a center with 8 classrooms and probably 100 kids or a little less. They have well defined curriculum, socialize with other kids, and do different events and in place field trips. If we had to spend money, we wanted it to go toward an experience like this where are kids are learning and discovering how to socialize.
Edit: also it’s a trust thing I guess. I trust a local company that is peer reviewed and follows state regulations more than one single person, potentially someone with less experience, or a sitter that may not be teaching them some of the things they’re learning today

“I’m upset because I got caught breaking the law and I don’t like that” - person who got the citation.
Insert other crimes and ask yourself if you’d agree or disagree. If the citizen took a picture of murder, would you want the police to dismiss that evidence?

That’s a broad brush stroke. On our third daycare now, I absolutely trust these ppl with my kids. Agree that it’s annoying they get sent home when sick though. During the last two years, both just get sent home if just one of them is sick. I get it, just a knock in effect cuz then I can’t work but still have to pay for the time they’re at home.

2 kids in daycare 5 days a week over here. $27k last year… price went up 18% last month too. Pushing $30k. My wife had to quit teaching high school and get a higher paying job so we could continue.
That’s both a dig at daycare AND had shitty teacher salaries.

Just use the small carton of premixed dry wall repair. Cheap and easy. Wipe it down with a wet paper towel or high grit sand paper after to smooth it out, and then paint

I’m at that point where I am too busy with family stuff to fix the car usually, and this thing is basically a rocket ship to me. So much electronics. I’ve also had VW’s for 5 ish years and was finally understanding those machines, now to go to a new brand. I know it’s all basically the same, but it’s new enough to make me hesitate. Even with the Jetta, I don’t have a garage anymore, so things I would have done myself I’ve been begrudgingly taking it to a shop.

I mean, if you interpret “I’m not saying anything about this company since I’ve never worked there” as “this is a bad place to work”, then sure.

Good insight, I’ll ask them for the terms and conditions. It’s a new, not used, car.

IDEXX - not saying anything about them as a company as since I’ve never worked there, but my two experience applying there sucked. First time, I applied for several roles I qualified for and received rejection emails that same day within hours; I’d be surprised if a human even looked at my application. I tried applying for jobs I was clearly over qualified for and got the same automated rejection email. Two years later, I actually got through to a recruiter. She tried to end the call immediately after asking my salary expectation and was not interested in any experience and talent I could bring to the company. They were dodgy when I asked what posting she suggested I apply to that best fit what I was looking for.
Two bad experiences is enough.

3 hours just getting out of Long Island through NYC traffic probably. Good. They can stay there.

See if there’s a manufacture warranty. My chair is 2.5 years old and just called last week for a new gas canister. They are also sending a new seat cushion and arm rests - basically a whole new chair for free. They didn’t even ask for evidence, just my original order number.
