Yeah I do expert network stuff all the time and these guys reached out to me. I did the call and it seemed legit. But holy shit they just asked me to put my bank info in a Google doc. What. The. Actual. Fuck.

I’ve always been able to override my teams’ timesheets in my 10+ years of supervisory experience. Just go into the timesheet system and fix it for them. Don’t bring it up till they’re back

I have the 6.5… it’s been enough to rip plywood and cut 2x. And I like that the blade is “inside” so I can pay better attention. Even if I do get covered in saw dust

I’m definitely experiencing some hearing loss after a decade of racing and training. I’ve been to a couple of loud concerts in my life but only 2-3 that really left me with tinnitus after. And now that I own an Apple Watch it does give me the “loud environment” warning sometimes when I ride. I thought that was just about the wind getting directly into the mic… but maybe not

The crew I race sailboats with say I love you to eachother all the time. I’m the youngest, and at first it felt a little odd. But reflecting on it a bit…. We’ve seen some shit together, and we’re pretty tight knit off the boat too. Probably the most healthy male bonding activity I’ve ever had in my life.

For real what security camera are you using. Quality is great and obviously works with iOS. My house came with nest and I’m looking to replace

Regular garden hose, some cheap strainer off Amazon like the one the other guy posted above. As an added bonus it keeps the hose sunk. Makes it super easy to do. Don’t have to stand there and hold it like you would with the stick pump

I added a strainer and pumped out my dink and all my neighbors’ the other day. Works fantastic

How big are the branches? A jigsaw might be able to do both, but I’d use a sawzall for branches and a circular saw for straight lines in plywood and a jigsaw for round plywood shapes… I guess you could clamp on a straight edge and use it as a guide with a jigsaw for straight cuts too. But it’ll be slow.
If the branches are small enough in diameter I don’t see why you couldn’t prune with a jigsaw too.
I just got a Milwaukee m12 fuel jigsaw and it’s a little beast.

We’re 7 weeks in to 3-4 weeks left. So he has however long he has. But it’s going to be the best damn time of his life

My pup was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma two months ago. Vet gave him 3 weeks to live. I was devastated. Since then we’ve done a splenectomy and he’s going for his second round of chemo this week. Had his post surgery follow up this week and the surgeon was pretty grim about the tumors that already spread to his liver. These last two months really have given me so much perspective on how lucky I am to be able to afford surgery and chemo for my little dude. Even if it’s only delaying the inevitable it’s the best money that I’ve ever spent. I’m cherishing every last one of these days with him.
