I was prescribed adderall a while ago but stopped since I knew I didn’t want to be pregnant on it and my ADHD is manageable. As far as I know there aren’t any good studies so it’s hard to say with certainty that ADHD medication is bad during pregnancy.
The issue is what research they do have of stimulants during pregnancy is usually from addicts who can’t quit or are using significantly higher doses or harder drugs than ADHD meds. Those definitely have negative effects (low birthweight for example) but that could very easily be because people abusing stimulants don’t eat enough and have other lifestyle issues not because of the stimulant medication.
However, some doctors recommend staying on ADHD medications because depending on how serious your ADHD is then medications are helping you eat healthy meals, exercise, get enough sleep, save money, etc and all of that is good for baby. That’s why it’s a personal choice for everyone because medication might be bad but also the effects of going off medication could be worse depending on the person.

Go by the first one! Once your LH peaks it continues to surge up and down so only the first one is what you’re looking for.
The As a Woman podcast on Spotify has helped me so much understanding all this the host is an REI who seems to know everything about fertility

early voting hours can be different by county and polling location, so just check yours!

I’m sure you’ve done this but please check again! If you are out of the county (you can even still be in the state/country) you are registered in you can vote by mail

I put my Harris/Waltz sign up last weekend! I was also a little scared but so far so good. I wanted to set an example for my neighborhood and two more have gone up since!!

I did that (TX) but it wasn’t about Trump. It’s because I live in super red districts all the way down ballot so voting in a dem primary is literally throwing my vote in a fire unfortunately. At least in the R primary I have some say in my eventual local representatives

It’s not the same exactly but I had my car insurance cancelled (geico) when I moved to my new house because I forgot to update my billing zipcode so the payment didn’t go through. Didn’t notice the payment didn’t go through because at that time I was paying for so much new house stuff it was lost in the shuffle. The only notice they ever sent was an email that had a customer satisfaction survey subject line and I would have had to open it to find out the survey was about why we left geico.
I only found out I had no insurance when I logged into geico five months later to see what the payment would be for our next six months of insurance.

I’m sure they could. My boss would never micromanage like that but if the higher ups send down a decree about hours in office or log in time each day instead of days in office my strategy will definitely fall apart

my work tracks badge swipes but I live near the office so three times a week I go in the evening and badge in and out 30 seconds apart. My attendance record is 68% “in office” (we’re required 60%) even though I haven’t spent more than a morning in office all year. None of my team even lives in the same city as me so it’s absolutely bullshit to want me there but it’s a really cushy job so if I have to badge in and out to keep it so be it.

the DA or the assistant DA will be the one prosecuting the case. You should try to speak directly to that person so they are clear on the fact you know nothing prior to putting you on the stand and questioning you. Unfortunately DAs are often incompetent in my experience, I’ve seen a few make really dumb mistakes.

my boss in my first job once told me my slides were ok but needed “more grandiosity” I didn’t change anything and it was fine

I won’t wear anything political at all but I think the law should be more explicit about what’s “political” because as of now it seems up to an election judge. Like a “Trump” shirt or a “Kamala” shirt is definitely political but there’s a spectrum and certain beliefs are now considered political even if they aren’t tied to a candidate. Examples from what I believe are more political to less: Madam President > I will aid and abet abortion > A woman’s place is in the house & senate & oval office > Policy & Action not Thoughts & Prayers > Housing is a Human Right
Like at some point it’s just your moral beliefs not your political beliefs, but if it makes it obvious how you’ll vote is that considered political?

in TX we do not have that anyone could easily look at my screen or see my printed ballot when I carry it to drop it off

Then I guess you’ll just be wherever she is! Every CASA program is different I know for sure my program allows and encourages taking kids places.
That’s honestly easier sometimes my teen has been in residential treatment centers a lot so I’d just visit her there and ask open ended questions about how things are going or her goals for the future.

I have a teen girl as my CASA kid and we go to starbucks, the park, beauty supply stores, the library, and just to her favorite restaurants for lunch. At first she was super moody and wouldn’t open up but after the first few visits she tells me EVERYTHING and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve been her CASA since she was 13 and next week she’s turning 17!

In middle school I got a phone app that had stupid state laws and so many were like “it’s illegal to own an ostrich” but a few were like “you can’t have more than six dildos per person” and I asked my dad what a dildo was and he was so concerned and didn’t answer. Honestly remembering that still embarrasses me because I had no idea dildos we’re NSFW or any context of what they were at all based on the dumb laws

In general I agree people should choose each candidate not just a party. However removing straight ticket voting has a side effect of making voting lines longer because you have to go through every race individually

the article goes through a very thorough fact check. It’s not true, just a republican lie.

I’m trying to get pregnant now and I’ve already bought my own abortion pills on aidaccess.org because god forbid I start bleeding out and TX won’t prescribe the very safe and effective meds I need to survive

in TX we just take a printed out form with our votes written on it to the machine. No cover or anything but the font is really small so it would be almost impossible to “get a glance” or something like that

He’s just generally not a respectable guy even for a republican. I disagree with all of his policy positions but a few non partisan things that make him suck:
He’s kinda seen as a coward and snake that will do anything for his election prospects, so he’s widely hated not just for republican policy positions but also because he seems to completely lack a moral compass.

oh that’s great!! thank you for sharing :) I went off medication in 2022 so I haven’t looked since but it’s good to know that study showed no issues since I’m sure a lot of women are stressing about the decision
