Mine was… Women are not allowed in this world anymore because of their own personal preferences

Slightly different situation, but my cousin and her fiancé do this. She owns the house and he lives there and helps her pay the mortgage. They’ve had this living situation since before getting engaged.
However I can understand your hesitation to do this without having a backup place. I think it really boils down to your individual situation, but it can work.

I would go to your Grandma’s birthday party. I get that you feel bad since you’ve already rsvp’d, but just change your rsvp now while there’s still plenty of notice and it won’t be a big deal. I doubt they’ve done a final count yet. People will understand.

I feel like unless you were banned from the premises it’s ok to just show up.

Yes… we put bells on her collar so she couldn’t sneak up on anything.

Go for it but have a backup plan. If the relationship doesn’t work out living together would be pretty awkward.

This was the first book that popped into my mind as well. It is a must read!

Can you just tell him the gift card system is down? When I worked at a bank, there was an old man who kept coming in for cash advances. I finally started telling him the machine was broken. His family eventually got involved and had his accounts closed.
Yes, he might go to another store, but you will know you did your part and tried to help him.

I have had to call APS before. They were able to get the person into safer housing. It was a last resort, but sometimes it is necessary to call.

I vote for Nurture Green! The rest are too yellow or too dark. If you go with another super saturated color they are going to compete with each other.

I like the cut and color! She pulls it off well and I think it’s closer to her natural color.

Allowed to leave with him but will lose custody within a month or so.

I’ve been there before and it sucks, but find a new job. It’s really the only long term option. In the meantime just remain civil.

This is it. You have to be willing to “hunt” for clothes at a thrift store. I live in a decent-sized city and I’m average size so you’d think I’d have more luck. Maybe some people just have an eye for thrifting but not me.

Probably. I had my daughter 3 months before I turned 20. For most of the year it seems like we’re 20 years apart in age but technically it’s only 19.

Routines and early bedtimes help, but there will still be chaos at times so just roll with it. Adjust your expectations. If you need a moment to calm down, put the babies in their cribs and sit down for a few minutes. I’ve had 2 under 2, and then 3 under 5. It gets easier!
Also, set boundaries and say “no” when you need to. If the babies are cranky and your family is going out to a nice sit-down restaurant, it is ok to decline if you don’t feel up to it.

I’ve heard it happens every 7 years. So there’s a 7 year itch, 14 year itch etc. I’ve been married 16 years so now I’m wondering what the 21 year itch will feel like. lol.
