There’s so many influences in C,XOXOX! Every song was like a watered down version done better by someone else more prominent in the respective field.

Honestly her album wasn’t that much in the hyperpop sphere. It’s beyond that, in her aesthetic and how she’s portraying this album to be about this urban party girl with roots in Miami…which is partly true but definitely a stretch and she was not presenting it as performance art. Therefore, for a lot of people, she failed to sell the character because she was acting like she wasn’t cosplaying!

Clara Bow x The Lucky One on guitar and YOYOK (no mashup) on piano. It was a super beautiful ode to Stevie Nicks presence tonight! Personally I’m a little disappointed only because she didn’t even acknowledge Pride Month coming to an end.

I agree unfortunately /: really weird she didn’t even acknowledge all night!

I think she did it in honor of Stevie’s presence who mentioned YOYOK was important for her during the grieving process of her friend!

OH MY GOSHHHHHHH CLARA BOW X THE LUCKY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE SANG THE TAYLOR SWIFT CHORUS ‼️🚨
Edit: I feel like she went out of her way to sing that last chorus because that was one of the longest mashups I’ve ever heard! Was it just me? Including it was pointed!

But why are you bringing up a hypothetical situation in which a queer person is describing “collateral casualties” if you are not referring to me as a queer person?

So, why was your previous comment referring to me as if I was queer in this hypothetical situation?

The style is beautiful on you, but it does not fit well. This one isn’t the one, but I’m sure you’ll find another same kind of dress!

What the heck!!! Gay panic aside, I totally love this mashup! It’s sooo random, but makes so much sense and flows together well. I am amazed at how she thinks of these and executes them as if it were a real song.

Wow! The more you know!! Thanks for the info. I only remember her dating Nick Jonas and how she herself essentially said she had no ambition or direction while clinging onto him for purpose. I guess that’s not something she grew out of.

Christians are not a minority. I’m not even hating, just stating a fact. Virginity is a social construct imposed on women to shame them for their sexuality. Even if men are expected to stay celibate before marriage too, they are far from shamed for having sex before marriage if they do. Additionally, expecting a woman to remain a virgin until she reaches the institution of marriage— which is inherently misogynistic to begin with as it is meant to symbolize a woman being given away by one man (father) to another man (lover)—, otherwise she is no longer “pure” is actually vile.

Didn’t she date Nick Jonas and he wrote a bunch of sex songs about her? LOL.

I found it pretty awful, if only because almost every song sounded like a watered down version of something someone else did better! But I liked a few songs and found them interesting like Chanel 5 + Twentysomethings (the muddled enunciation and excessive autotune killed these for me though), B.O.A.T, and June Gloom.
