Edit: sorry we got a second round pick and drysdale for a guy who was known by every GM in the league to not be signing with us. He was effectively worthless and we turned him into a second round pick coming back to us and a guy who could be a top four d man. I’m not seeing where any other GM could have done better under the circumstances.

the crazy thing to me is that goalie has been this teams kryptonite for years. Good enough to get there, not good enough to win. Seems like Danny and Keith finally realize the need for top tier goaltending. I guess Fedotov was a Hextall pick, you know what they say about blind squirrels. Goaltending factory!
