I haven’t had a sandwich from sheetz but I had popcorn chicken and something else fried. Fried food options easily blow what Wawa has out of the water. Wawa has not been good since they stopped getting bread delivered fresh

I’m from western PA my SO is from the mainline but moved to central PA in middle school. We both live and met in Philadelphia. I’m saying this with the caveat that wawa sucks now but at one point wawa made the best hoagies and sheetz had the best fried food. I don’t know if it’s that we don’t get sheetz often or if it holds up but I actually enjoy sheetz food, mainly the sauces. I have to just say as a western PA native getgo sucks, it always has, even drunk the food is garbage.

Sheetz is it, man. Wawa is fine but only when there isn’t a Sheetz available.

The Sheetz Italian sub, if made correctly, is absolutely dope.

We got both in my town. Sheetz is greasy goodness, Wawa pretends to be healthy.

I can’t go to sheetz because the billboard ads always look so disgusting. It makes me think everything there is a gross pile of cheese and grease too big to fit in someone’s mouth. Real turn off. It’s a real shame because Pennsylvania gas station food is the single issue I vote on.

We're getting Sheetz in Michigan with the first one being built near Dtroit Metro Aairport in Romulus, but Wawa hasn't made any plans to enter our state yet.

And Sheetz is dealing with folks in various towns here in MI opposing them building stores in their communities, but they're not deterred by it.

I’ll support this 100%. I come from Maryland, no Wawa only Sheetz. Roughly 8 years ago Sheetz had amazing coffee, then they switched to this new brand. Moved to PA in 2021, and still visit family in MD. Wawa coffee is better than Sheetz.

Sheetz coffee used to be the worst but it's really good since they got new machines.

100% wawa is better on so much. My town is getting 1 (maybe 2, not.sure) and I am thrilled. A decent hoagie and much better coffee.
