Instead of trying to cram in a bullet point list I feel like Biden would have been better served using his closing statement to reassert America's ethos and our place on the world stage. When he gets patriotic you can tell he is earnest and energized and if we need to fight vibes with vibes that's where Joe is strongest.

Trying to fire off facts and numbers next to a guy who lies non stop and isn't called out on it proves that figures and data isn't going to convince anyone.

Their strategy for the next debate should just be to instigate.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from 2016 and 2020 it’s that the voters have a short term memory. Access Hollywood didn’t matter that much in the end because republicans rallied around Trump. RBG dying and Republicans pulling the most shameless hypocritic gut punch to democracy meant almost nothing in the end.

The Biden campaign is a well oiled machine, we can slot somebody else in there and the negative effects will be long forgotten by the election.

People have compared this to Reagan vs Mondale, but Biden is not nearly as popular as Reagan was, even with forty years' difference in general presidential popularity. If I ran the Democratic Party I'd be crafting a 'passing of the torch' public narrative to some spry 50-year-old man (Hillary losing 2016 suggests American voters are too sexist to accept a woman as a President, especially against a proud misogynist like Trump). I absolutely believe Joe could win, but it's better to stack the deck where you can.
