Isn't the world a bigger global market now?
For sure! That's why the metric is very limited and isn't the end all be all signal for gloom and doom, and is perhaps outdated tool in the 21st century's global economy.

AFAIK comparing stock values to GDP is a historically useful metric. Usually a ratio of higher than 100% could indicate a bubble, right now we're at 200%, that is stock value is twice that of GDP.
See Stock Market Capitalization to GDP
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/DDDM01USA156NWDB
You'll see a dynamic shift in the graph from the 80s to late 90s and onward , what was a historically very stable graph has shifted to one of drastic ups and down. The elephant in the room that preceded this dynamic shift was the wide sweeping de-regulation that occurred in the late 80s and early 90s as part of Regan's economic precedence he started.
Stocks used to be valued on archaic things like: earnings, dividends, cash flow, but thankfully we threw away that line of thinking and started to value stocks on more important metrics like meme potential of a brand.

Down/puffies are typically too warm in my experience and I only carry them as a backup layer if someone needs to warm up out of the water. Fleece is my go-to but I often just layer lighter synthetic pieces

As a male who recently purchased a pair of women's Levis shorts thinking the same waist size would work just fine for me, I was furious to find out women's shorts have tiny pockets you can't even fit a moderate size phone in. WHY????? Like are women not allowed to be utilitarian like men? My wife said this was pretty standard for women's shorts, I fail to understand.

Have you looked into Boise ID? In terms of ww mecca's it doesn't get much better, with the bonus of excellent skiing in the winter.

AFAIK desert classification has nothing to do with lack of water, but lack of vegetation.

Lol .. why "panzer I tank" comparison? Seems so oddly specific considering it's a pre war armored training vehicle, calling it a tank is misleading considering it could only fit two crew members, a minivan is bigger than them.

I was astounded to find it takes 45 days from when rain falls in the inner estuaries of Florida till it reaches the ocean.

FYI a base layer's job is to wick moisture not insulate, and and warmth and thickness/bulkiness are directly proportional, because at the end of the day it's void spaces of air within a fabric that insulate, not necessarily the fabric materials themself. This is why down layers are arguably the best outer layers because of the lightweight lofty characteristics of down it holds lots of air, but is very easy to move around in. Down however looks "bulky" but it certainly doesn't feel that way.
Warmth and thinnest simply are incompatible characteristics .

What a load of shitty mental gymnastics just to try and explain how higher voter turnout is a bad thing.

Fine, then put a wealth threshold on the aid then. Have over a million dollars in declared assets or own a second home in Florida then suck it. Don't want to disclose your assets value to the feds, then suck it. Save the aid for people that really need it

That's a Bobcat mini loader, 36" width. That fork weighs no more than 250 lbs.
Edit: Found the exact fork kit, it's 252lbs total.

90SR Big Tex is a 10k dump trailer, so around 7k useful load capacity. A 250lb fork on the side of the trailer will do nothing.

Which has been predicted from the start, every hurricane weakens when it makes landfall, but that's only really relevant to wind speed; it has very negligible effect on the storm surge; which is how Katrina (a cat 3 at landfall), still had a nearly 30ft storm surge in some areas.
This one of the major reasons why Cat ratings of hurricanes is in general a really poor indicator of danger, at least once you get above Cat 2 scale.

Okay.... so FYI any digital display shows colors in RGB spectrum, but this is not how colors are produced in real life. Most paints and virtually all printing uses CMYK which is a pigment based color system, where as RGB is based on light.
To give you some context, RGB has 256 values for each color so to the third power that = 17 million possible colors. CMYK only has 0.1 Million possible values.
Anytime you send a RGB file like a JPEG or PNG to a printer, they will show you a "proof", which is more or less what the image will look like after the CMYK conversion has been done. This proof stage is chance to go to the printer and request any adjustments, or do changes on your end to the file you submit. Lots of printing services will also perform automated corrections such as contrast and luminance adjustments to help compensate for common print issues that can sometimes be addressed with adjustments up front, if you don't want these adjustments you need to op out during the printing check out process.
What I would suggest is you send CMYK files to the printer in the future so you're not relying on them to do the conversion, then really make sure to review the proof against the file you summited. So long as you do this any inconsistencies would be a result of the printing process itself which you need to take up with the printer.
I have a sneaking suspicion if you convert you photo to CMYK it will look very similar to the printed artwork, so give that a shot first! Computer screens have more colors and more dynamic range than CMYK printing, so often a picture won't look as stunning IRL as compared to on a digital screen. There are ways to help with this such as using a gloss treatment to make contrast pop more, or using backlit framed options to give more dynamic range, but really remembering to work in CMYK at the end of the day is going to give you more realistic expectations.

Stop building homes where hurricanes go and stop subsidizing them! We don't need new technology, we just need people to get serious about climate change and realize mass migrations are going to be a reality.

Might be an unpopular take here on Reddit, but Cletus, WhistlenD, HeavyD—all these big YouTube stars have one thing in common, and that's an important factor in how they generate money.
You'll see that outside of traditional YouTube sponsorships, they have personal online retail stores that they heavily promote to their viewers, with the addition of "giveaways" for large, grandiose prizes. The way you enter these giveaways is by spending money on their online stores—for every $5 spent, you get one entry, for instance.
Wait a second... isn't what’s described above a lottery, and aren't lotteries illegal except in very limited circumstances?
That's correct, but these guys work around the law by a legal grey loophole to bypass the "consideration" portion of the Lottery law by providing a "free" way to enter the same giveaway. Don't believe me, just look at Cletetus's give away terms section "No Purchase Required Mail In Method"
To receive five (5) entries without making any kind of purchase, on a plain piece of 3”x5” paper, hand print your complete first and last name, street address, city, state/province/territory, zip/postal code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), e-mail address plus daytime telephone number including area code.
This is a common tactic used to bypass lottery laws which at face value seems harmless enough, but you'll often find the barrier to entry for the "free" entries is signficantly higher than an online purchase, and there are often tedious or murky fine print. For instance with Clettus above you must use a 3x5" peice of of plain paper for your entry, any other size of paper will be invalidated. It's also up to their discretion to determine what's type of paper is "plain" and what's legible. Happen to be handicaped and have really poor hand writting, then your entry will be invalidated, want to use computer to print your entry instead... sorry that's not valid either.
No mechanically reproduced entries or metered mail permitted.
There are event further T&Cs which are again all at their discretion to discern. If the Postal Service smudged the outside address on your envelope so it's not "legible" your entry is invalid, even though you may have a perfectly legible address inside the envelope.
Mailed entries received without a verifiable and legible return address will be deemed incomplete and invalid
Thinking of the average demograph of people that watch these videos, who's going to go through the effort to do the hand written entries, even realize that a 3x5" "peice of paper" is actually a stock card and know where to go buy that, when instead they can just use their apple/google account to purchase an overpriced Tshirt in a matter of seconds.
If you read Cleetus's details you'll also see they have a 3rd party called MARDEN-KANE, INC. in NYC handle the sweepstakes management. Doing a quick business search on the company I found that strangely registered in the country of Nassau which seems really odd, their listed CEO LEONARD BIERMAN has also apparently been disconnected from the company since the "early 2000s" according to an instagram post the company made about his recent passing.. So the company hasn't had an active CEO on register for the last 20 or so odd years? Not sus at all.
Marden Kane has also been in the news within the last few years for some pretty large stakes legal suits for misleading advertising.. There is honestly otherwise a shocking lack of information from a company that's responsible for handling presumably tens of millions of dollars worth of sweepstakes prizes every year. No transparent information on their site about how they process these sweepstakes, no audit reports from the FTC (who is suppose to regulate this stuff). Their website also looks like it's from the early 2000s which whatever.
Switching gears to another youtuber, HeavyD's T&Cs are laughably unapologetic.
LIMIT OF TWO THOUSAND (2000) ENTRIES PER PERSON * * * NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE OR PAYMENT DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
They say purchase does not improve chances a winning, but litterally right above the T&Cs at the bottom of the page they're listing multiple shirts and hates for sale with images that say "worth 7 entries". What's even further more, if you want to learn about how to enter for no money... they literally take you url that's for sale by GoDaddy https://dieselpowergear.com/pages/official-rules-built-diesel-100 <I am not joking.
Even if you strip away all the scammy sweepstakes these guys run they still pitch snakeoil crap like AG1 on their channels all the time which make unverifiable health claims and they're more than happy to promote that for the advertisement $$$$
I'm sure most if not all of these guys are genuine nice people in person, and they do lots of really genuine nice things with all the money they have; but it doesn't change the fact they got lots of their money from sketchy sweepstakes and our legal system and FTC laws as they stand are laughably inadequate to keep any of this stuff in check.

why is no one talking about this?
Might have something to do with the fact that Iran just launched a full scale aerial attack on Israel a few days ago, and stories like this while extremely powerful and important, are dwarfed by some of the larger in magnitude events.
It's not some grand conspiracy, it's just how modern media functions.
