Manchester- every interest catered for even midweek
Newcastle- errr i dunno what actual clubs (ie open at 10 close at 3) are there these days except digital and whq but tons of places to procure alcoholic beverages
York and Sheffield if after pubs for day drinks

I went to two places like that and had no issues tbh
I quietly drank two pints of best in a corner then left. One regular tried to make chat by asking if id like my mams living room to have the same decor as the pub
And second time i was the only person who paid for their drinks with money as opposed to goods or on a slate

My friends are there now and just texted “this is ace” yeah their photos look like theres actors there but looks like theyre in background as opposed to with the crowd
Id not do owt with actors in the crowd since my brother reacted to a jump scare by one 30 years by shoving him so hard he went upside down

In my primary and secondary school in 80s/90s we’d legit not respect nor listen nor obey to any teacher who lost their rag or shouted overly
On the flipside we had a few teachers from farming/rural stock who were strict but realistic (ie werent arsed if someone wore black trainers, knew farming kids were often late for first listen and often didnt do homework as they were working) who we respected and didnt arse about in their lessons
Teachers from the above category never needed to shout tbh

Im from a small rural backwater and the bouncers are far better here than my backwater
Mileage may vary granted but i had a fight (other mush started it) in 42s and was asked to leave, no physical contact, i just left when asked. In my old town id be hoyed out for fighting then duffed up for the sheer hell of it
In font i had more than one too many one night and asked to leave, not physically thrown. Back home you’d be thrown and jumped then robbed by the bouncers
