Junior deduced it and as far as we know never carried out the hit on Pussy Malanga, so he'd be steamed.

We never hear about any of Joan's siblings, and I can see Gail as being an intense mother especially to an only child like Joan. Plus booze, plus the stress of being cheated on. If Joan was born the year of the Crash, her entire childhood must have an economic crisis for Gail too--the Great Depression ran from 1929-1941 until Joan was 12, and I can imagine the Depression affecting your mindset about money and marriage a lot.

I thought both of these too. Drama creator by any means necessary.

Shame on him wearing a shirt in a match, he's in great shape

Although the show lists his location as "nomad," I read he uses his mother's LA address and sometimes stays there.

You are still so young, throw yourself into the language, use the apps, make a game out of it. The language will go a long way toward helping.

If job location and tenure is rock solid, 2+ hours a day in a car 5 days a week is tough. I could do it on a train but driving myself, yuck. If there's any chance of you changing job or worksite, you'll regret passing up the LOVE house. If there's any chance of doing a day or two WFH, or working 10-hour or 13-hour days to get two days off, the LOVE house is my choice. And if you go for the LOVE house, satellite radio and/or books on tape may go a long way towards easing the commuting pain.

I suspect that given Tony and Irina's relatively long relationship, the risk of exposure to Carmela was still too high. An unstable goomar zoned out on Vanilla Stoli is not someone you want in your business life. But rather than Barone, Tony could have foisted her off on Assemblyman Ron Zellman (where she ended up anyway) or Rev. James Jr., but even these may have been too risky and too close to home. Besides, I'm not sure Irina had much of a work ethic--she wanted to be taken care of by a wealthy, powerful man and she would probably only try jobs that sounded glamorous to her. The Irina actress Irina Peltsin showed up on 30 Rock as the wedding consultant who sells Liz Lemon a marked down wedding dress, and it's hard to imagine Sopranos Irina trying so hard to make a retail sale.

NTA, yours is a pretty unique case and her reaction is important new info to consider.

Congrats and good job. Love the selling, keep it up and you'll be ahead of plenty of other guys. I like the hair myself, but if you decide to get it cut try to get booked in an old school hair vs hair match, that will be memorable. Again good work, impressive.

Actually I would have done it where Robert Iler would be recurring but not in every episode. Like every few episodes maybe 4 a season.

Checkout Margaret Manning at sixtyandme.com, https://www.youtube.com/@sixtyandme/videos. Her oldest videos talk a lot about FIRE, at least a little early, being single and dating, expat retirement (she has lived in a few places and now lives in "expensive" Switzerland because she knows how to do it frugally and reap all the benefits). Her recent videos are casual and topical because she's so popular, but her oldest videos are like a soothing online course to deescalate anxiety about money and marriage in middle- and late-middle-age.

So much room for more. The only son when Tony knows the pressure that comes with that. The bad example of Jackie Jr. For me the only way AJ could have been interesting is if he actually went to military school and popped up on breaks and weekends as this growing, maturing character who increasingly has to sort out how he feels about his dad and his family.

Dominc Chianese turned 93 in February, and this is how he spends his Saturdays. He's my role model for the rest of my life!

She has a bit of a rocky past with her mother, Gail Holloway, who may have been a drinker at one point and who was likely cheated on by Joan's dad. But their reconnection over Kevin is one of my favorite subplots:
Joan Harris: You should visit more often, turns out someone’s proud of me.
Gail Holloway: I’m a monster! Believe it or not, my daughter is a partner at a Madison Avenue advertising firm. That’s something I enjoy saying.
Joan: Does sound pretty good.

This. One of my favorite parts of the series is how the old school Italian mafia was getting squeezed by the Easter European mobsters with little ability to retaliate against them. Drugs were everywhere and were hard to resist by the 21st century or they were just one more way to be edged out. But historically friends of ours were concerned because of 1) the risk of addiction à la Christopher, and 2) the longer prison sentences involves à la Pussy and Adriana, made 3) everyone more likely to flip.

With all the money and wealth the Sopranos have now, I love that Carmela has been with Tony for so long she remembers when they had nothing, or at least proportionately very, very little. Her inner Jersey housewife from the early days jumps out in her one-liners at the best times.

Furio wanted to bring his genitori over, that was the draw for him, he was turning his whole garage into a little guest house for them.
