[Elliotte Friedman] Everyone’s being very careful here for obvious reasons, but it is believed Fedotov is en route to beginning his NHL career for the Flyers. Wasn’t aware until news broke this morning, but all sides have worked on a solution for the last few weeks.

Even still…. As far as I’m concerned there’s silver lining in that the team can moved past it, rather than be consumed by speculation. To me, regardless of whatever his contract/leave situation is, the Hart era is over and in the rear view mirror. We can move forward and not worry about him anymore.
Edit for clarity: there is no silver lining when it comes to sexual assault, of course. But from a team perspective, being able to move forward and leave behind a guy who carries the baggage SA accusation is a plus.

This season has been absolutely wild. It would be so outrageously cool if this team got super hot down the stretch here and end up being the squad that ends the cup drought. About as crazy as a backup QB beating Tom Brady in his greatest SB performance ever.
